10 Weird Band Names in Rock
There has been many weird, ridiculous, and what does that even mean band names in rock. Sometimes when you see that name, your first thought is probably like, "Well this is an odd name for a band." And sometimes it's like "what does that even mean, like what does _________ mean." And sometimes, "I think they should change there name immediately." But these are just some examples of band names that are weird. There are possibly hundreds of band name out there that are weird.

Limp Bizkit

What dies that even supposed to mean. I mean Limp Bizkit. What kind of a band name is that? Some of you might not consider Limp Bizkit "rock". And I can totally understand, but, they're sort of like rap rock.

Nickelback

Nickelback is one of the most hated bands out there. I think one reason why is because of their name. This is a reaction where your like "well, this is an odd name for a band." Like what is its origins of the name, did they think it sounds cool? Did they think of it as a joke?

Garbage

What, what kind of a name of that. I mean like, Garbage, what does that mean. Does it mean that they are all garbage, were they high when they got that name, what does it mean?

The Mr. T Experience

They named their band after watching Mr. T on TV. For some odd reason they thought it would be funny if they named they band after Mr. T. This one of those bands where you think "they need to change their name immediately" or "well, that's an odd name for a band."

Chumbawamba

I can't even pronounce their name correctly. They are a group of, or they think they are, British "anarchists." They decided they wanted a name where it resonated with the passion of their views. So they chose a word that we can barley announce.

Enuff Z'Nuff

They are an '80s hair metal band that was named after their co-founder Chip Z'Nuff. A name like that makes you think "they need to change their name immediately." Enough said.

Archers Of Loaf

In every interview that they've been in, they discuss about their name. They came up with the stupidest one they could think of. This is a name that's all of the above "well that's an odd name for a band," "what does that even mean," and "they need to change their names immediately." I'm not saying these are terrible artists, just terrible or ridiculous names. Well, maybe 2 or 3 are terrible.

! (Chk-Chk-Chk)

I don't think any of us have ever heard of this band. I think I know why. The name. I mean, who would name their own band "!". If you look them up on any search engine, you'll fond the words, "search not found." But they are also called "Chk-Chk-Chk." Still a ridiculous name, but at least it's recognizable. This is a name that's all of the above "well that's an odd name for a band," "what does that even mean," and "they need to change their names immediately."

Panic! At The Disco

They got there name from a name of a Smith's son Panic. Which is about burning down a disco. 'Nuff said. This is a name that when we hear it we think "well that's an odd name for a band."

Puddle Of Mudd

They got there name after a 1993 flood that got there practice space all muddy. Which seems kind of stupid. They could of have thought of a better name. This name is like "well that's an odd name for a band" and "they need to change their names immediately." Thats the list, which rock band name do you think is ridiculous or weird, and what band name makes you think "well that's an odd name for a band," "what does that even mean," or "they need to change their names immediately."
