BIO: began in 2008 with 4 members, now we have 5, done shows, releasing demo

NAME: Sanctum
INSTRUMENT: Guitar
LOCATION: Ridgefield, CT, USA
GENRE: Death Metal
BIO: Sanctum is one of only a few true metal bands active in Southwest Connecticut, unfortunately. They play a style of metal influenced by bands such as Death, Suffocation, and Iron Maiden. The band originally had four members, but several problems with different rhythm guitarists have made the band decide to remain a three piece.
They recently completed recording a 15 minute EP, which is available for free download on Myspace.

LOCATION: Ottawa, ON, Canada
GENRE: well, one of our guitarists is still in the "COB are brutalz!" faze, The rest of us like death metal and I play Jazz and Death metal.

LOCATION: Boden, Sweden
GENRE: Progressive metal, death metal
BIO: We're 4 guys who simply enjoys music of all kinds (mostly metal, obviously), so we formed this project to compensate for the horrendous lack of talented musicians in the northern parts of Sweden.

this article wasnt useless. it did what i set it out to do at the beginning of the series.
the ammount of death metal featured is a testament to the power and influence of death metal. (a lot of the bands have however, mis-labelled themselves and might be more reminiscent of grind,thrash or deathcore)
if you dont like the contents of the article, feel free to submit your own bands or music project to be featured in part 7.

there are a variety of different genres featured in the other articles.

that html has been done incorrectly. admins have created a link to the bands myspace, in most cases, the only online music Entity have is on their facebook page and you need to be logged in to visit it.

if you didnt like them, then you should have said after the first and there wouldnt have been anymore?

we could have put this in the "promote your bands" forum but then you have to filter through a lot to find any real gems. the aim of this article was just to show off the bands from the metal forum and a few are of the amazing bands that lurk there.

i'm not very good at writing things like this but i just wanted to put the metal forum's bands out there.
if you'd like to see other sub-genres please look through parts 1 - 5. it's unfortunate the only genre in this article i death metal.

the word is spelled G-R-A-M-M-A-R!!! they have these things called dictionaries. i know they're new, but try one if your having difficulty spelling, they help!!

I'm in a thrash band and a progressive power metal band :P Not successful or touring ones though (yet)

a wide variety of genres wasnt what i was working to get.
however, this is only 1 of 6 parts.
it you want to see a variety of genres then look at the entire series of articles.
there are black, doom, death, thrash, grind and punk bands in the other parts.
