"For example, saying that “I want to be the fastest guitarist on the planet” doesn’t really mean anything. It is a false purpose.
...
Learn how to become a guitar virtuoso: http://www.guitarvirtuoso.net"

Sounds contraditory.

Sounded more like a boring motivation speech rather than something original and helpful that every one hears year after year in school.

None of you have any idea what you're talking about. I've seen almost *exactly* the same speech from someone who has a best-selling book, a hit website and film that has rave screening reviews.

There's no real specific advice here, true, but an article that started putting that in would get far too long - the main points he stresses (finding what you're passionate about achieving, finding out how to achieve it and then working your goddamn ass off to get it) with examples from his life are the best advice you'll ever get from anyone.

Repeat: I've seen an almost identical speech given by someone who is extremely successful in the artistic field - someone who has succeeded thinks that article would be good advice.
