This June 21th and 22nd, Montreal will vibe under dissonant chords and devilish atmosphere because the Heavy MTL fest will shake the place. June 21th, Iron Maiden is headlining the event. It's how they spend here in their "Back in time" tour. The first part will be assure by a lot of great band such as Mastodon, Hammerfall, unexpecT, Three Inches of Blood, Overkill, Type O Negative, Symphony X, Hatebreed and others.
June 22th, the fest continue with another great guest in the metropole: Mötley Crue! This first part is job for Voivod, Priestess, Disturbed, Shadow Fall, Anthrax, Three Days of Grace and others.
The only disappointement is that only two or three bands are local, but with all these great names, we have not really to cry.
All this hell happens at the Jean-Drapeau Park, on St.Helene Island. Don't be shy to visit the official web site for more information.

: Most of those who posted are ridiculous. Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Motley Crue, Shadows Fall, Mastodon and Symphony X are easily worth your ticket. If you don't like it, don't feel like you need to share it with us.POSTED: 07/01/2008 - 01:50 pm / quote |

: Tickets were separate for the two days. First day was worth it. My friends went. I missed it *snif snif*. Apparently Symphony X and Maiden blew every other band away (as expected) and Maiden had some sick pyro and stage theatricals!!POSTED: 07/02/2008 - 02:18 pm / quote |
