Step 1: get your fix in try not to wait until like 1 o'clock to start playing.
Step 2: when you do play try not to go into that place in your mind where time doesn't exist hence no sleep.
Step 3: start playing so intensely where you have to chill out when you are done.
Step 4: relax take some sleeping pills or drink a beer or two to calm your nerves down.
Step 5: again rock out so hard you cannot feel the part of your body you are playing the instrument with.
I think only step1 will be helpful.
I am actually against step4, sleeping pills can be addictive and unhealthy.
