Sorry, what was the formula for finding your notes per second? I can cleanly play sixteenths at 105bpm...what is that in nps?


edit: nvm, i got it. It's 7nps...that doesn't sound too impressive haha but that's at my very cleanest. I suppose i have moments of brilliance where i can double that but it's all just getting widdly. I can do the 7nps cleanly and consistently.

There is some kind of drink involving Red Bull. I'll see if I can lay it out for you:

1. Take large shot glass. Place a smaller shot glass inside of it.

2. Fill the small inner shot glass with Red Bull

3. Fill the larger shot glass with vodka(I think it's vodka), but make sure it doesn't overflow into the smaller glass.

4. Slam the drink.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 until desired buzz is acquired






































6. Shit liquid fire the next morning.

if you are working on tremolo picking, you really only need a metronome. If you want to increase the difficulty, just switch strings

Biggest thing I have to stress about picking is make sure you think of your down and upstrokes as the same thing, not 'down makes a sound, up is filler' because that'll ruin your dynamic ability and probably your speed too. so use and down strokes so every notes sounds the same volume.

Its imperative (if you want good technique) that your upstrokes are uniform with your downstrokes.

Man, Friday I got sick and had a fever of 102. I am starting to get over it; pesky.

I think it is sweet when people say I am God. I know they don't mean it literally but it is a way to express their big love and admiration. You are totally appreciated.
The thing about me being the reincarnation of Jesus Christ...whew...also sweet, but funny. I had a girlfriend who said I was like Jesus. I tried to explain why I am not, but she wasn't convinced. If I were Jesus, I would never get angry, I would be completely selfless and patient, and I wouldn't get sad, and I could definitely heal myself, but I might not because incarnations of God are beyond body consciousness.

I can smile but it isn't a huge toothy smile.

Oh yeah, I have a couple of amp heads that I can't really use anymore. One is a Carvin that I used for "Go Off." The other is a 1969 plexiglass Marshall with mushroom caps for the tubes. It sounds really good. I used it on some of The Raspberry Jams. It is set up for Eddie-type tone if the volume is on 10. That is a bummer so I used a groove tube emulator. I wonder if anyone is interested in buying them. In addition to the Marshall being rare, both of them have sentimental value. So what I would want might seem unreasonable; oh well.

Sweet lord does it feel good to be doing Martial Arts again. In the last week I've had three 2 hr long training sessions, 2 in Tae Kwon Do and 1 in Aikido.

I've experience in TKD, and the new club will recognise my belts(Yay!). Never done Aikido before, but it's fookin great. It's so different to every other Martial Art I've done. With Karate, TKD or Kung Fu, the emphasis was always on staying active, keeping moving, staying tensed and warmed up. Aikido is alot more relaxed. If you get kicked in the stomach without tensing, it'll hurt like hell, so you tighten. If you get thrown at full speed while staying tense you'll break bones, so you relax. Bar some light experience in Jujitsu, I've never done a grappling/throwing art.

Feeling fitter already.

I did Ninjitsu for a few months, then the instructor left the city.

i was in tae Kwon Do for 2 1/2 years, but i pretty much stopped going for the last half year. I quit when i was a Probationary black belt, which means i was the lowest level black belt you could be while still being a black belt.

I maintian that kicking someone in the nads is the best fighting style though.
