wrist band help!

hey,

I have been searching all over and cant find any...do any of you guys know where i can get a pair of those long wrist band things that stop your arm getting sweaty when it rubs with the guitar. The only guy I can think of who wears them famously is james Hetfield. Any website suggestions where I can get some from or even if they have an actual name so I can find some myself would be a great Help!

Just go to an athletic store and look in the baseball or tennis sections.

Edit: After failing to notice that you are from England from the start, you can probably strike the baseball idea.

there called sweat bands. Most sports stores sell them

I dont really care about my arms getting sweaty, its just that sometimes i 'stick' to my guitar and it reduces my movement. Also it leaves dried sweat on my guitar

^ You shouldn't be resting your arm on the guitar. That reduces your movement way more that sweat sticking ever will.

hmmmmm.... you could try putting some antiperspirant stuff on your arms. it works for me.

I read in Guitar World that someone uses cut off black socks, I think its mastadon or lamb of god

Well, I would suggest that you pick one or the other. Most users, and the mods, dont like it too much when you double post, so I would avoid doing it if at all possible.

My little brother wears them casually (go figure) and he finds them pretty much at either sporting stores or even just a Wal-Mart or something; you just have to know where to look.
