Well, you gota admit they do sound like they recycled a couple of riffs here and there, but they've taken advantage of that live. Remember Bodom After Midnight/Bodom Beach Terror on CRY:SKL :p:? But the more you listen to them, the less similar they sound.

I could see how people would call bodom songs "similar sounding" but not the same. There old songs used a lot of harmonic minor riffs, which would make the songs have the same feel...and they have a certain style.

I think people get mixed up between songs sounding the same and an bands sound.

All bands have songs that sound the same because if you have a certain trademark style, even if you are trying to incorporate new techniques, chances are your style will dominate and give the songs a similar sound.

Ah I see where you're coming from but I think it should sound more like the neoclassical thing imo. I'd like it to be a mix between their early work (FTR or SW) and HCDR. AYDY was a little to drum focused for me. And whatever happens they definitely need more keyboards than AYDY.

And as for the songs sounding the same I think that's actually partly true on their older mostly because of the song structure is the same. Ya know, fast keyboards, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo chorus. Or something along those lines. But it isn't always like that.

Blackened death is pretty good too. It's really damn hard to choose for me because there's some bands (Behemoth) that are just orgasmic, but out of the BM subdivisions I'll take symphonic BM any day. Symphonic BM > all music ever (except neo-classical metal and symphonic power metal).

Possessed, Shamed, Translucent Image, and Homeland II are really good songs but the recordings that can be found are really low quality. It's hard to distinguish actual guitar riffs from keyboards or feedback.
I wish I had a copy of the actual demos so I could frame them and laugh at everyone who says they bought a Bodom album.

Also, I'm constantly flirty xD See, I don't have my license yet (gah, 17... but alas, I can legally get my license, my mom thinks I'm not ready yet, though) and I wouldn't ask to meet her untill I did. But she lives in Pennsylvania, and I in southwest Virginia. Also, she's seen the pic and loves it, even though it's not that true to life. I don't think I'd want to draw a nude of her without her consent, either... and without her posing, of course :p:. But yeah... that's the song that reminds me of her.
