hmmm not sure... the new albums (are you dead yet, Hate crew Deathroll) are probabaly easier to get into but the old stuff (follow the reaper, Hatebreeber, Something Wild) are technically better IMO!! yeah just listen to a few tracks they grow on you..

Yup, same thread. Everyone who posted after the first guy who reported the thread got warned.

The Duncans are active puckups, starting out. That, and they let more dynamics and wood tone through than other active pickups (like EMGs). And Roope and Henkka may start using them too, I dunno. They all seem to conform to what Alexi uses lol!

You can find the LTD Alexi on Musician's Friend, the ESP on Americanmusical.com, and the Japanese ones on Ishibashi, bmusic, and eBay.

And honestly, I haven't played it, but the Alexi-600 was like sex in my hands. Personally, I would never buy another bolt-neck guitar with a LFR. Do yourself a MASSIVE favor and save up for the Alexi-600 or one of the Edwards models. It's a choice you won't soon regret.

That's a definite yes. Red Light in my Eyes Part 1 is Bach's Invention No. 13, Part 2 is Mozart's 25th, later in the same song they use movement Confutatis of Mozart's Requiem, the interlude in Black Widow is a Mozart piece, and I can't remember which song it was, but during the last solo Alexi plays part of Bach's Tocatta and Fugue.

Bodom didn't cover The Trooper, it was a Gore Metal band called Sentenced who did. The only Iron Maiden son that Bodom has covered is Aces High. Also, I'm sorry, but I don't think Roope is that interesting of a guitar player. Yeah, he's got chops, but his solos are nowhere near as interesting as Alexi's. Just watch Demonstration 2 from the Young Guitar vid, Alexi's solos are more interesting. Even watch Chaos Ridden Years, Roope was pretty boring IMO. I'm not saying he's bad, mind you. Don't wanna end up like how Alexi did when he said that stuff about John Petrucci :p:

Google ESP Edwards and check out the japanese site. Trust me, if you like playing, you will need something to inspire you to play better. One of these axes will do it. The Xiphos is also a good choice. The other guitarist in my band is seriously thinking about getting one. Trem system isn't too good, though.

But really, it will depend on your credit what your limit will be. Unless you're getting a co-signer with really good credit, I doubt you're limit will be 1k+ for the guitar...even with the signer it might not be that high. Also, intrest will slay you...just be careful.

Like I said man...it's never that easy. Also, it will come back to bite you if you're not careful.

Even if it DOES work out, when it's all said and done you'll probably have spent close to 2,000 dollars on a 1,000 dollar guitar because of interest. You probably have a job, so that's like...most of your paychecks per-month. Even more so if you want to get it paid off fast.

My grandmother co-signed on my Guitar Center card and with my zero credit and even with her 30+ years of positive credit...it only got me a 2,000 dollar credit limit.

When push comes to shove, it will be better in the long run if you just save up the money...OR try to get a co-signer on a GC credit card and wait until they have like a 3-12 month no interest / no payment sale.

Then you HAVE to pay it off. You'll blink and it will be over. Credit is sticky if you're not careful man. I don't want to say it's not worth it, because having good credit is a GREAT thing...it's just that it's soooo easy to mess up.

Boo hoo. It will take you time to absorb words from a page lol! Suck it up and just read the series, man. Best you do it from first to last so that characters have time to grow on you.

Ok, here's what we're going to do, just for fun. Pick a member from Bodom and put them into another band, replacing that bands whatever. I.E. Jaska goes into *band* and replaces *drummer* and list reasons why you think that would be a cool fit.

Then, replace a member of Bodom with someone from a different band...again same rules.

Here, I'll start.

Alexi goes to Trivium and replaces Matt. Because then Trivium would probably rock.

Animal replaces Jaska...sorry...but that would just be cool.
