Yeah, but see, it is never spelled that way any more, so it really doesn't matter. Spelling it that way just makes you seem like you are trying to show you know more than everyone, when everyone knows it already anyway, so you just look like a tool.

Yeah, well I have a Schecter, it's got a fatty. I love it though. I have an Ibanez too, and I don't like the thin neck as much as my Schecter's.

Regardless, I want an ESP SV above all else. I would take that over the Alexi model any day. I like having 2 pickups too much.

His tone is definitely MUCH more bassy...I like the energy the song conveys in the intro. Alexi's playing has evolved into a more Zakk Wylde style, with all those pinch harmonics on the 6th string. I don't like the bridge. Well...The vocal melody kind of clashes. The guitar melody after the keyboard melody is really nice. The harmonized keyboard/guitar solo is pretty. I didn't like the solo too much until the harmony at the end. I'm not going to get my hopes up on this song. I remember loving Trashed, Lost, and Strungout and being disappointed with Are You Dead Yet? So right now I'm neutral.

I was going to mention earlier how it had a very Zakk Wylde/BLS feel, which, to me, isn't such a good thing, but I think the song's pretty good. I hope that at least some of the new songs have some sweeps in their solos, as it seems that Alexi has been shying away from that stuff, although there were a few small sweeps here and there on AYDY.

Imagine Jeff Loomis(after taking lessons from Dimebag, but not really at his god-like level yet), Chuck Schldiner(before he got REALLY good), a Hardcore bass player (that at some point was influenced heavily by Cliff Burton), and Randy Blythe playing stuff that resembles a cross between Dethklok, All Shall Perish, and Cannibal Corpse o.o

We have no drummer yet :( But we're looking for somebody who can play Necrophagist without breaking a sweat, and Cory (other guitarist) kinda knows a guy like that... We just gotta convince him to join us lol

But so far we've got a tech-deathcore thing going on :p:

My band is in the same situation as your's. We can't find a drummer. Our bassist knows a guy, we just haven't been able to get in touch with him yet. So on our recordings, we just used synth drums. Lol.
I suggested that, but we want to sound as good as possible starting out, so no synth drums for us. We know some people who could probably let us record our stuff once we get it ready, but we have trouble arranging the songs and stuff right. We need better riff transitioning, and we're trying to get one riff faster and a bit more technical, but it's proving difficult to re-write.

I suggested that, but we want to sound as good as possible starting out, so no synth drums for us. We know some people who could probably let us record our stuff once we get it ready, but we have trouble arranging the songs and stuff right. We need better riff transitioning, and we're trying to get one riff faster and a bit more technical, but it's proving difficult to re-write.
What's awesome is that our drums sound real. We used a sample of Meshuggah's drums. Everyone that has heard us is like "Wow. You're drummer is amazing! I thought you guys needed a drummer!" Haha. We're always like "Yeah...about that...."

I've seen this, and Have the audio Track from "follow the reaper SE".
Alexi Laiho plays lead, same thing with "Oops! I Did it again." The Britney Spears cover.

I've seen quite a few vids of Alexi not playing the leads, letting Alexander take the spot light. What still amazes me is Alexi singing while playing the chorus melody to Kissing the Shadows.
