Wtf...ofcourse he does. He just got NEW versions without a preampbooster. He still uses ESP all the time. He just switched his pickup and booster system. What i meant with signature on the head is that his PREVIOUS versions had a Signature writing of Alexi on the headstock but the ones he used on Tuska 2007 for example(yeah i was tehre and saw pics of it too close ups) He had not Signature on it. It was also equipped with SD blackouts and as far as i heard on tuska it sounded ****ing ace!


He has had that Krank Revolution head since summer 2006. It was in the news of Musamaailma netpage that Roope and Alexi walked into Musamaailma and tried em out and bough them because they liked it so much. SO its not certain he will use them...Let's hope so because he had a splendid tone!

at the GC I go to, most of the guys that work there are metalheads, but probably the coolest ones I know. They hate all of the kids that come in and play the same songs over and over and think that they're amazing, when the people that work there hear things like Cowboys from Hell one hundred times a day.

By that I don't mean you, but rather, the poser metalhead kids who only know the famous parts of famous songs and think that it makes them pro shredders.

Hello everybody!

I have fixed a few COB tabs. I have uploaded them. Only 4 of them have been made yet (Bed Of Razors, Kissing The Shadows, Mask Of Sanity, Angels Don't Kill). Keyboard lines contain the most changes (for I play on keyboard), but I had to fix guitar somewhere too. Now only one track belongs to one man, guitar solos are not in a separated track, and keyboard tracks are united. And, most of all, I fixed keyboard tones.

and my answer is always: " hey for me it doesn´t matter how good i am, the only thing i wanna have is fun and that´s what i get" :-)

The bottom one is the more expensive of the two because of the pickup booster. The top one looks like an Alexi-600

He has all those with gainboost. The ESPs are just made for the USA market because they cant get alexi's REAL models. Better quality yes and gainboost is nothing better...jsut preference. I would never get the gainboost one i guess. The reason theres a USA model is because ESP would get sued by Jackson if they sold ESP RV-350AL in the states.

Speaking of which...I'm A LOT closer to getting myself a neck-thru Rhoads V. I'm looking at the Stars (again) or a Jackson Rhoads Pro. I got my Christmas bonus today! Because at my work we're not allowed to get tips, I got $396 as a bonus. Then one of the residents (I work at a retirement home serving old douche bags their food) gave the wait staff an extra $150. Plus I brought in a friend and he's been there for 3 months, so that's another $50. Then I get another $50 because I'm playing for the residents VERY soon. So I'm getting $646 at the end of the day. :)

Technically, getting them through eBay isn't second-hand. They're sold brand new through certified ESP dealers (essentially online guitar shops). My Edwards showed up without a scratch on it, and all I had to do was tune it (it was detuned for shipping).

Honestly...and don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be an ass....but it's based a LOT on if you've even laid your hands on really high end gear.

To me, the LTD's to ESP is a pretty steep step. I've never played an LTD that was as nice as a real ESP. Now Edwards IMO, are a little bit higher than LTD's. Some of the higher end Edwards are really nice, and if you can get a gem, are almost side by side to SOME ESP's.

Now, the Custom Shop is in a whooole other league. One that, unless you've had experiance with higher end stuff, you probably won't really be able to feel compared to a SS ESP. Not really trying to be mean or rude, it's just the way it is :(

If you don't play high end or CS guitars, and Edwards and even a few LTD's will feel like liquid sex in your hands. But, with a little more experiance you can really tell the difference between the brands.

All in all though, it's not that big of a deal seeing as most of us don't have a few grand lying around for a sexay new geetar strang lol.

Well mate, you have a few options.

To save up and get the end all CS version of your choice. Save up and get the ESP Sig. or an Edwards.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the American version.

Dude. I can't wait any longer. Once I get that last $200 some dollars, I'm just going for the Rhoads Pro. I guess it's a good thing though. I mean, seriously I have nothing to really look forward to if I were to get the Stars. Star Wars is over (though Revelations has yet to come out), Randy and Chuck are long gone, the Sinergy album is never coming out, and a 24 fret Rhoads is all I'm waiting on now. If I were to get it now, I wouldn't have anything left to live for. :(

Song wise I didn't like Are You Dead Yet? but the solos were very good. And who determines when a band is "selling out?" Aside from all of the above, even if what you said were true about Alexi (which I highly doubt, or is purely your misinterpretation of something) it wouldn't matter anyway. The music a band makes is what it is, separate from the personal opinions of one band member, no matter their role.

You need to grow up. Acting like an elitist is pathetic. Trying to mature and open up to widen your range of music, or even just exploring something else, does not make you a sell-out. You'd be hard pressed to name one lasting musical legacy of a significant band who hasn't done that.

But hey, you can keep trying to be SO BR00TAL, and keeping yourself from listening to music you might otherwise like. Your loss.

Theres a huge possibility Im wrong on this, mainly because I have no reason to think this. But I have that feeling that is album is gonna be a huge dissapointment. And both roope and alexi use Boss SD-1 Super ovedrives now so its a big change and to be honest his tone at tuska was so kicking ass i cant describe it. The guitar tone will kick serious cojones on the next album im sure! I do hope its gonna be good!
