I have spare time that I kill with posting here, big deal. I post a lot of informative and positive things as well, but as proven by today's mass media, only the negative things are noticed.

Besides, I came in here and commented on the band, a few of you took it upon yourselves to attack me personally for not liking the current material of a band. If any of you want to try to question my life or things in it, you may want to question yourself first and ask yourself why youre taking the the time to flame a person for a dissenting opinion than yours on music.

Theres a huge possibility Im wrong on this, mainly because I have no reason to think this. But I have that feeling that is album is gonna be a huge dissapointment. I really dont have ANY reasons to think this, I just have one of those feelings. But I pray to God it kicks ass, another great bodom album would improve my quality of life practically 50%. God I hope they pull it off.
I'm glad to see that someone has expressed their opinions without trying to piss people off. I tip my hat to you! Unfortunately though, I do feel the same way. I do feel it won't live up to what I hope it will. But I am hoping that I am wrong! I didn't like the song Tie My Rope that much, but I did enjoy some of the melodies within the song. I listened to it maybe 3 times, and if I remember right, it seemed like the timing of the vocal melody during the verse clashed with the rest of the music. I have come to realize though not to base an entire album on one song. I did this with Trashed, Lost, & Strungout. My expectations were so high because I liked the song a lot, but then they were crushed.

Thats exaclty what I thought when Rise of the Tyrant was in production, then it came out, and i was 100% correct. Alexi has personally stated that he was trying to sell out, he even stated that Slipknot is one of the best bands ever. I think that determines selling ot.
Well I'm quite sorry that you felt that way about Arch Enemy. I personally loved the new album. It seemed very reminiscent of Wages of Sin. I found it to be a very melodic album. Unfortunately, I don't believe you about the Slipknot ordeal. As a fellow Hate Crew member has pointed out, Alexi did say that that was how they felt at the time when writitng AYDY?. Perhaps he did state that he enjoyed Slipknot. What if Galder came out and said he enjoyed R. Kelly? Despite the music he has written with Old Man's Child, does that mean he has sold out? What if Muhammed Suicmez stated that him and the rest of Necrophagist really enjoyed AYDY, as well as Arch Enemy and Disturbed? Wow. He would have really sold out.

Very negative. Let's say someone posted in the Wintersun thread and said that Time was going to suck. No reasons whatsoever, just plain and simple "It's going to suck." Would you not defend a band that you enjoy? Personally, I don't care what you think about Children of Bodom. I don't care if you love them or hate them. What you did was make a blind assumption on a subject you really know nothing about, and you did it in a poor, ignorant, manner. Children of Bodom are my favorite band, and I DO take it personally when you blindly attack them without providing any sort of reason. No meat, nothing to sink your teeth into and have any sort of discussion about, just spam. Like I said, I don't whether you like Bodom or not, but when you spew ignorance, you better repercussions.

I love how you try to justify it later on too. There is a difference between hating a band and discussing that band, and spamming....

Follow the Reaper is actually an amazing album. A lot of fans actually hold it as one of their greatest works. I really loved Hate Crew as well. I re-listened to it last night and I still really like it. IMO, most notable track is probably Chokehold. I tried again last night as well to get into AYDY?, but I found myself just skimming past everything to get to the guitar solos.

I don't love Alexi Laiho and Children of Bodom/Sinergy - Though I do like Sinergy a little more because of their insane melodies - but I still hold them very close to my musical heart. My taste has moved from Randy Rhoads and Alexi Laiho to more-so Randy Rhoads, Chuck Schuldiner, and Galder, but I'm still ready to defend Bodom/Sinergy/Alexi. I can't wait for the new Sinergy album. I do hope that they start working on it again. I also wish both of my Sinergy CDs weren't scratched. No matter how gorgeous a girl is, don't let her borrow two of your favorite CDs for more than 2 years. :(

Hey it's Henkka,

yesterday we came back from the videoshoot trip to Berlin. Damn, it was rough. We flew in on Sunday and then shot for two days in Eastern Germany. There are so great locations there, it's amazing!

But yes it was hard work, really long days, and for the crew even longer. First day we were outside so it was quite cold also, but I'm sure it was worth it!

The team was the same we had on In Your Face-video, the Katapult production; director Sandra Marschner, camera/ director of photography Bernd Wondollek, and all the other cool people who made it happen!

The songs we did are the title track of the album called Blooddrunk and another one called Hellhounds On My Trail ! Looking forward to see the videos when they're done, cos they looked really cool already!

Actually, bass 7 (or 8), Mids around 7 or 8, treble 9. Might wanna make it mids 9 and treble 7 instead, I'm not sure. Play around with it, because Alexi does actually have quite a bit of bass in his sound, and the Marshall cab will pump some midrange into it without EQ.

Alexi uses 11-50, but I use 11-52 and it does pretty well, although I've got a bit more bass (for obvious reasons). But if you can find like a 10-50 that would be okay was well. 10-52 for drop C.

Actually, a lot of people don't like Key West because they're homophobic. Also, a lot of people can't stand Miami because they only speak Spanish there. It's waaaaaaaaaaay too hot too. Literally everyday it's 80 degrees. Now that wouldn't be too bad if there weren't any humidity. With the humidity, it usually feels around the upper 90s.

That is true, its pretty hot there all the time. NC has a lot of humidity too, i guess its just the east coast in general.

I always thought the heat index was just a complete joke. "Hello folks, its 82 degrees outside today, but with the humidity it FEELS like 100!"
