if your getting into get hatebreeder or somthing wild, for the ultimate shred-off get follow the reaper... personnaly(!) i think AYDY is heavily underrated, i prefer the earlier stuff but the songs are generally good, if a little we're trying to be american metal.

Hey can you guys do me a favour? I'm covering everytime i die with my band (because its one of the easier bodom songs, and my drummers double pedal is broke and its probly got the second least double pedal out of any bodom song, and epically awsome, and the solo makes me sploosh).

Anyhoo the tabs i have the solo seems wrong (mainly the nots that are played at about 130 beats per minuite after the wammy bends). So can anyone point me in the direction of the correct tabs?

It's a 1994 Jackson Randy Rhoads Pro. :) Not all original though, the pickups were swapped with a Duncan in the bridge and a Dimarzio in the neck. Don't know what models, the guy hasn't e-mailed me back. I'm swapping them out soon for an EMG-81/60 combo.

alexi has been the most influencial in my guitar playing he was really good but i think hes tapering off a bit, im learning kissing the shadows and cob's newer songs are not nearly as complex IMO. old > new but new is still good.

And i really like bodom beath terror aswell, the riff has a really nice groove to it. The melody and the lyrics in the chorus are some of the best. and the outro sounds like mortal combat gone mental!

Hi, I just recently listened to COB's pre-released song from their new album "Tie My Rope", and I have to say, I wasn't to impressed. I really love the albums Hatebreeder, Follow The Reaper, and some of Hate Crew Deathroll. But COB is becoming more thrash, straightforward, and kind of generic. Are You Dead Yet? is a sign of this. IMO, they are losing the characteristics that made them great. Do you guys think this is true? I was hoping that BloodDrunk would bring them back to their roots, but it seems to be another Are You Dead Yet? and then some. Also, i find Alexi's guitar skills seem to be lacking after Hate Crew Deathroll. Is this just me?

Are You dead Yet? would probably be the most accessible album. Personally I'd start with Follow The Reaper, only because that was the first song/ album I ever heard from CoB.

You sure about that? I read a few interviews with Janne and Alexi while they were writing Blooddrunk and they both said that there were going to be LESS keyboards on this album. If there's more, then good.

Last week I got into COB and had heaps of their **** on my ipod and then yesterday morning I woke up hating them and listening to them made my ears bleed. I deleted every song I had without mercy.

I think SW is better than Hatebreeder. Hatebreeder has some great songs, but as a whole i find it kinda repetitive and a bit boring.

Regardless, at the end of the day, he doesn't like either Something Wild or Follow the Reaper. Kissing the Shadows is probably his least favorite song because "it sounds like Rhapsody." He found the chorus to be a little gay too. He doesn't like Wrath Within because "it's just riff after riff after riff."
