LoBodomy is an awesome song title. And triple corpse hammer blow made me laugh when i saw it, but 'one day you will cry'... seriously, that's just terrible english and it has hints of emo. The titles have made me get a bad feeling for the album, especially lyrics wise, even though we all know they've never been bodom's key feature.

I still have high hopes, and i'm not going to judge the songs bases solely of the titles, but i can't show serious metalheads a song called banned from heaven, especially when they're not a tongue in cheek band like syl or such...

Doubt they'll have an hour set man...

Last years tour started at about 6ish and ended almost midnight, with six bands playing, with Megadeth / Lamb of God taking up most of the time.

In any case, I don't think they'll ever play KtS live ever again...here's hoping, but I don't think it'll happen. Silent Night and Lake Bodom are good chances though.

They played Silent Night and Lake Bodom the first time I saw 'em, and then Lake Bodom the second time.

Which show are you going to? I'm going to try my best to hit the one in Houston and the other one or two in Texas.

right way to put it. I think a strong reason for CoB's success is actually their sense of humor in a scene where bands take themselves very seriously. Kinda like AC/DC in the late 70's. I think the psuedo horror-cheesy keyboards and the increasingly funny and creative ways of putting the word Bodom in a song title is a big part of their success.

I think CoB is a very good band. Alex is a talented guitarist, and his riffs combine skillfully classical influences to heavy metal riffs. But is it too much to ask, when I'm asking only one GREAT guitar solo, those which I've heard have been mostly sweeping from dropped scales. After all, I am proud of being finnish, and that's partially because of CoB. Older songs are better than the new ones though... except I learned to like from Are You Dead Yet.

^ I agree. Although Hatebreeder is and always will be my favorite album, I don't think most of its songs are as "catchy"-sounding as the ones in Hate Crew Deathroll. Hatebreeder has an awesome melodic and heavy epic feel to it, but to be honest I think a lot of it is disguised by some thrash-sounding riffs sometimes. Whereas Hate Crew Deathroll just kind of comes right out with the melodies and pleasingness.

-(if you liked Hatebreeder) Something Wild
-so and on so forth...

I don't like Are You Dead Yet? all that much. There are a few good songs on there, but I hate the slower less-epic-sounding soungs like Punch Me I Bleed, Next In Line, Bastards of Bodom, etc.

Bodom is so sick live! I saw them in Minneapolis last year and it kicked ass! Alexi is basically the god of guitar. They practices their asses off so that they sound so clean and amazing during their shows!

I've been taking college music theory classes and I'm in highschool and I have analyzed a bunch of his stuf and it is so amazing. Like in Bodom after midnight he uses a pentatonic run at the beginning of a song that is not part of the key he is in but he uses it to foreshadow another part in the song later.

I think that'd be a huge accomplishment for the metal community.
