insideac: The keyboard parts weren't improvised, there was a thought and time put into writing them, it's just that most of it was done in a trial and error fashion as opposed to setting out for a certain sound.

But I love what I've heard so far. I haven't been to the page in forever, but certainly good stuff. I think a good tour would be 3 Inches of Blood and Nekrogoblikon. Their styles are sorta similar, and their lyrics (not vocals, lyrics :p: ) are sorta reminiscent (sp?) of one another, both about fantasy and violence.

We're working on the label thing... Our promo "agent" is fairly busy with other things though, and she's our connection with the label people... I dunno when she'll get a chance to really get us out there. I also did some work myself, but as always, it'll take time to see what happens.

As for touring, we'd love to go cross-country with Finntroll, but it's unlikely that they'd be interested. Who knows though. We are planning a summer tour, but finances and our ability to book venues will determine where we go and how long the tour will be.

yeah, MIDI (musical instrument digital interface (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_Instrument_Digital_Interface) ) is just data that your sound card processes and plays back using an internal synth, i could probably get you sheet music, but i'm not classically trained so it will take a little while to translate over. If you have a program like guitar pro or fruityloops or power tab you should be able to import the midi for a visual display. Also, to the dude whos CD hasn't arrived yet, that sucks man, tell your postal service to get off their lazy asses and deliver!

The video from the cobalt is pretty decent. Also, there's a clip montage from the whisky on google video that shows off our live sound pretty well.

There's been a few shows at each that were quite good sound with a good turnout too.

I've been to the Alpine a few times, they're pretty chill... I don't really have contacts there but I'll definitely check it out. Also, yeah, Matt's a cool guy, I've been going to that damn store for like 4 years now, me and him always exchange random music.

Having CDs in stores is like...impossible if you don't have some sort of distributor backing you (which we don't). I mean, maybe Morning glory would take our shit, but the others....it wouldn't even be worth it because we're not that well known (yet). If you can help us out with this, by all means, we'd love to do it.

With Just Play, you just go in and ask them to put CD's on consignment, and if they sell, they will contact you about putting more in the store. If you went in and asked, i'd buy the first one and that would help you guys out.

As for the Alpine, flip a message over myspace to myspace.com/alpinebooking and just see what kind of shows they have coming up that may have spots, or if you have other bands that want to play with you, then you could just book any show you wanted.

Shockingly good considering that picture, I guess you really can't judge a band by their look. I really can't picture their lead singer singing this stuff. He's pretty good really.
That's not their lead singer. he's a sub, their lead singer looks nothing like that.
