It's a private torrent tracker specifically for music. It's probably the best music tracker out there, it has just about everything you could dream of with all of it at least 192 kb/s in quality. The rules are a little strict and it's really tough to keep a good ratio, but it's worth it. It's just amazing.

ok heres what you do to play comp games:
if its an iso, mount it on a virtual drive
if it is a rar, unrar it to a folder and then run the setup or whatever
that should about cover it for computer games

oh and if anyone has a demonoid invite i REALLY need one by tonight to dl a torrent off there, mininova, tpb and isohunt dont have it but demonoid does :( if anyone gives me a code ill be eternally grateful

ok, go download daemon tools or alcohol 120 and then create a virtual drive, open up the drive, browse to the ISO and mount it. im sure there are more details elsewhere on the web that you could access with a google search, so if you dont understand what i said then just google virtual drive or something

i thought the whole point of downloading all this **** was because i didn't need a disk.

the game should have come with a crack, if it wasnt in the folder with the .iso it might be on the virtual drive that you mounted it on, check G: or H: or whatever the drive is and look for a folder called 'crack' or something

actually, it never asked me for either, it installed correctly like it would if you had bought the game. i don't know how you would enter the serial number if it doesn't ask for it.

Well, the crack has to be somewhere(I hope) in that folder, it sometimes has the same name of the game and .exe(just in case you didn't know).

Or maybe you could download a crack...I hate those things. :mad:

It really depends on how many peers you have and how fast their connections are. How big is that particular torrent?

Just find the "first" file amongst them all, putting them in alphabetical order and then choosing the first one should probably work.

Look for .part01 or .r01 or similar.

I don't know why some of the rars are missing the icon, it happens to me sometimes too, but I just ignore it and haven't had any problems.

Those invites are for torrent sites..

And that's the same thing that happened to me with one the games I downloaded. I just ran "Autorun.exe" and it just installed by itself.

Invites are for invites to the sites where you download torrents from.


You can try the autorun thing like Vantage said, if that works good. If not, there should be a dyn-csp6.r00, or dyn-csp6.r01 - you'll have to look for it among the files, try ordering them by name.

Get the top one and right click it, hit "extract all..." and then choose where you want to extract to.

The RAR files will all work as one, if you extract the first one, then all the others will extract too.

Ok guys i got the installer running...one of the AutoRun.exe files started that.
but now its asking for a Serial # and I of coarse dont have one.
ontop of that I cant see one anywhere in my download

so im going to open each RAR file and look though it to see if its listed anywhere in there.

there's a lot more seeds because it's a private site, so everyone's like, required to seed it for a certain amount of time or else they can't use the site anymore, from my understanding.

Well the advantages of OiNK, for one, are:

- FAST downloads due to lots of seeds (I'll tell you why in a minute)

- Safe downloads: If a virus is detected the torrent is deleted and user is banned. End of story.

- Lots of material due to people trying to get their ratios good.

Theres more, but thats the basics.

There are certain downsides tho:

- You have to upload over half of what you download (thats why there are so many seeders...its people trying to bring up their upload because they can't make torrents)

- If you make a torrent and its not in perfect condition it'll be deleted, and if you continue to make the same mistake you wont be able upload torrents anymore.

Again, theres more but thats the basics.

Demonoid isn't much good in my opinion, but its grand if you don't have anything else.

Same process, you download it through bitcomet. I find bitcomet to be pretty fast.

Don't use it as a default, although I've never used bittorrent. Don't use Bitcomet as default either. ;)

Demonoid only updates it's stats when you close your torrent program. If you leave uTorrent running 24/7, the stats will most likely never update.

I have demonoid, and i don't know why the ratio's aren't changing. It's a problem with them though, cuz as long as your client closes properly (the process ends before windows shuts down) it should report your new ratio.

I got the link from here http://www.mininova.org/tor/866744 Once it FINALLY finished I go to open it from the file on my desktop and it says it can't find the program to open it. How do I open it? Now the seeding thing, yes its a pain in the ass. But you have to live with it I'm afraid. Try leaving it for like 3 days or something for every torrent downloaded.

You're grand on that site until you download 5GB, them the download ratios are in place.

Also try uploading your own stuff. Is tricky but they have great tutorials for it.

Yep give it a shot.

And its bad to leave that many torrents open. Here what you do (it should help...alot) :

1: Check what torrents are/have uploaded.

2: Check what torrents are either dead, never have uploaded, or have errors on them.

3: Delete the torrents from 2.

4: ???

5: PROFIT!!! (and more seeding by you)

If you leave that many torrents open, your computer is trying to connect and upload them all, even the ones that can't be uploaded due to an error, or won't upload due to about 50 seeders and 1 leecher.

Unfortunately, it now seems that Canada is not the “safe haven” as they expected it to be.

Demonoid tracks over a million .torrent files and is the second largest BitTorrent tracker after The Pirate Bay. The shutdown of the site and tracker is a huge blow for the BitTorrent community that lost 2 of the most popular BitTorrent trackers within 24 hours.

When a file is new, much time can be wasted because the seeding client might send the same file piece to many different peers, while other pieces have not yet been downloaded at all. Some clients, like ABC, Azureus, BitTornado, TorrentStorm, and µTorrent have a "superseed" mode, where they try to only send out pieces that have never been sent out before, theoretically making the initial propagation of the file much faster. However the super-seeding becomes substantially less effective and may even reduce performance compared to the normal "rarest first" model in cases where some peers have poor or limited connectivity. This mode is generally used only for a new torrent, or one which must be re-seeded because no other seeds are available.

im just not sure if its a problem i can fix, or if its just because nobody wants them.

It's probably just that nobody else has been downloading the albums. It's much harder to maintain a good ratio on OiNK by seeding, especially after you've only been there a day. The best thing to do is find an album you have that isn't on OiNK and upload it in a lossless or high bitrate.
