My Double Muff has been a bitch recently, makes loadsa humming when it's on. Not so much humming but a bleeping that gets louder when you turn it on and push up the fuzz. Not so much of a problem as I intend to get rid of it soon, and I don't really use it anyway.

Vagabond21

What do you guys think of my recordings, tone wise and phrasing/playing wise?

I like the tone in both.

I think I prefer "Noodlin" over "Blues in E", though.

A few (not many) of the licks seemed a little out of place. Don't get me wrong though, it was still good. Someone who doesn't play guitar and/or listen to blues much probably wouldn't notice.

For all I know you could've meant to do it though lol. Overall, good job. What did you use to record that and add the other instruments? I don't know anything about recording. When our band plays the singer and the rhythm guitarist usually deal w/ it.

imgooley
06-02-2008, 05:06 PM
I just used my laptop mic and Audacity. It came out better than I thought it would. The backing track for Blues in E is just a Guitar Pro track from You Shook Me.

Thanks for the comments btw. Noodlin was just me dickin around on the guitar, playing what ever lick came to my mind. That hook lick that I got out of it was pretty cool, though. I think I'll use that for an actual song.

And I pose a question to you, denizens of Blues and Jazz:

Should I refinish my refinished guitar last year or start saving for a custom guitar I would like to build.

I desperately want a guitar that looks like the Elvis Costello Jazzmaster in terms of finish.

if i remember correctly from when I refinished it, it was a pretty not-too-bad looking piece of wood, not figured or anything, but I also don't like figured guitars :P

I'm going to take a run down to the local pawn shop to see if there're any cheap guitars (there were rumors of a $300 telecaster) laying around that I can refinish and mod as to not destroy my work on the one above

Birthday greetings Kris.

So the pub where I work has a massive backyard and the landlord is a musician so he puts on 3 big summer concerts every year (The pub is called The Wilkes Head, so the concerts are; Wilkestonbury, Wilkestock and W2008 Party in the carpark. :haha)

Anyway I've got a spot on the first one for June 22nd and need to sort out a setlist and figure out what other instruments I want. I think I'll play electric so I can play some solos and ****, just to not have it be too boring so it'll probably be me, bass guitar, drums, and harp on some songs.

Do you think these songs are upbeat enough for people to enjoy and not be boring, these are the ones I'm thining of so far, I know all these well (I'll be singing too BTW)

ZZ Top - I need you tonight
Muddy Waters - Hoochie Coochie mn
Hendrix - Hey Joe
JLH - Crawling kingsnake
John Mayer - Gonna find another you
Buddy Guy & Junior Wells - Bad bad whiskey

And some slide
Evil by Howlin' Wolf
Stack Shot Billy by The black Keys
And possibly a garagey version of Death Letter.

Should fill the 20-30 mins pretty easy and it will all be unrehearsed with the backing band so it'll be just winging it really. Looking forward to it though, hopefully I can get recording and video of it. I want it videod to send to my family, they've never heard of seen me sing before. My mum doesn't believe me that I actually do it.

Anyway anyone got any suggestions? Any other good, simple-ish slide songs in Open A/G to recommend, would like to play more slide.

You can do Red Rooster. That is a fun open G tune. Standard 12 bar progression too. Goin Down Slow is another good open G tune.

Red Rooste is a good idea actually, could get some harp on it too, I'll see if I can learn it.

That would be an awesome feeling. Hopefully I can get some cats together to do some gigs.

Red Rooster is really easy. Just a standard shuffle with a slide up to the 12th fret at the end of the bar.

I've recorded 10 tunes in 3 days. I have a bug or something in me that makes me want to keep doing it.

meh!
06-04-2008, 03:20 AM
You should make sure that at least the first two and every second song after that are ones the most people are sure to know.

That would be my advice...it's good because:

1: Audiences always enjoy stuff they know (it's a hard fact that applies to both original material and not-known covers... if they don't know it, most people honestly aren't going to be that interested)

2 It's easy to be confident when you've got someone elses good songs in front of you, this applies less because you're doing covers... but it still applies a bit when you're considering which covers to do. Go for the ones that you feel are recognisable and you feel most comfortable playing and you'll just have a much better gig.

3. I don't think that particular ZZ top song is a good starter. You want something that comes right in; punchy and up beat. That ZZ song is pretty laid back, slow and sort of meanders into the song. Whilst Sharp dressed man or Gimme all your lovin EVERYONE will know and as long as people can hear the lyrics then they've got a recongnisable tune to follow, with a famous riff and taht's what people are going to care about. And those songs jump right into the action. (the drums at the start of gimme all your lovin seem like a good starter to me).

Your first two songs you're gonna want them both to be hard hitters so people will pay attention. (and you don't really wanna slow down either, if you're doing a half hour gig or whatever)

That's my advice, take it or leave it! lol

imgooley
06-04-2008, 04:04 AM
Meh hit it on the dot. You could play something like Just Got Paid instead of that particular song. Or a Zeppelin song...

TheDev01dOne
06-04-2008, 05:20 AM
Those songs weren't in any order really but I really like that ZZ Top song so I'm definitely doing it. And it's not your average audience, 95% of the people there are musicians and we all know each other already and stuff so I think they'd appreciate some interesting stuff instead of just well known songs. Probably gonna add my originals in there somewhere too, I don't really want it to be all covers but I've had it at short notice so don't have a lot of time to finish, practice, prepare my own songs except for 2 or 3. and won't even really be able to practice with any of the other players so we'll just be winging it (they're quite good though, there shouldn't be any major problems)

Your advice is appreciated though, gonna be a sweet learning curve. Everyone there is cool though, even if I **** up they won't care. And if they do I'll just spit in their beer since I'll be working on the bar all day aswell.

I'm bored guys. GTA IV has lost it's appeal. It's not as good as San Andreas, I dunno why everyone thinks it's better.

Got a cool progression/riff thing happening in open Dm and trying to write some lyrics for it but it's really tricky. Sound's very Black Keys-y IMO but still different? Just one bit sounds kinda like the "Lies Lies Lies Ohhhh Liesss" part of their song. I dunno, I guess that song is possibly in Dm or something, maybe I'm just hearing things.

Listening to some Junior Kimbrough, his grooves and lyrics are quite good but just some bits irk me because it's still all quite rough. I guess The Black Keys showed how good it could be if it was all polished.

Did I mention I'm bored?

Not bad for 100$, they got good reviews, Agathis body, needs new strings, tuners, finish, and possibly a neck if I'm so motivated. Its an Ibanez GAX, budget guitar, but doesn't play horribly

This baby's getting either http://store.guitarfetish.com/dr90husip90c.html or http://store.guitarfetish.com/meal2ritovij.html

along with a new bridge and possibly Bigsby (verry tempting)

I'm debating refinishing it to a dark walnut stain, no pickguard, chrome hardware and tele knobs

The only major issue is the neck. I really don't like Ibanez necks, I find them too thin. I might try my hand at crafting one myself or ordering one from Stewmac or Warmoth, we'll see as summer goes by.

Get one of each of those pups. They are both teh sex.

Do the either a dark walnut or a trans black finish. I think you should keep the pick guard though.

And is that neck really that thin? I have an Ibanez and it has a neck as fat as a Les Paul.

sre9981
06-05-2008, 09:54 PM
The neck is very thin, just under 3/4 of an inch at the 7th fret (thats a quick eyeball wiht a tape measure, not a caliper measurement mind you. I'd much rather a fender sized neck as its what I'm used to. If all goes well, I'll decide on parts and order them tomorrow as I'm going to Korea for two.5 weeks and it'd be sweet to have the parts when I get back :)

Still down
According to The Planet (our hosting company), “[Yesterday] evening at 4:55pm CDT in our H1 data center, electrical gear shorted, creating an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding our electrical equipment room. Thankfully, no one was injured. In addition, no customer servers were damaged or lost. We have just been allowed into the building to physically inspect the damage. Early indications are that the short was in a high-volume wire conduit. We were not allowed to activate our backup generator plan based on instructions from the fire department. This is a significant outage, impacting approximately 9,000 servers and 7,500 customers. All members of our support team are in, and all vendors who supply us with data center equipment are on site.” No ETA so far, it’s about noon right now.
permalink
Muxtape is down as of 3:01 am because of a problem at our host. They lost power to a data center, and that’s pretty much all I know right now. I don’t anticipate any data loss, but I have a backup of everything as of 2:07 this afternoon just in case. We’ll be back as soon as the power comes back on.

I just started taking drivers ed last week, so i have been thinkin of the car i want and the one my dad is willing to help me out for.

i wanted a truck for the longest time, but the way gas is i wont be able to drive anywhere. so i have been looking at some some cars.

-Pontiac Grand Prix-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontiac_Grand_Prix
I like these, they look good and r kinda comfortable to drive, and my dad is willing to help me out cause he likes them alot and thinks they will be good cars. If we got one it would prolly be like a 04' between 07'.

-Subaru Impreza WRX-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Impreza_WRX_STi
I love these things, they look amazing, r fast as hell, and r just amazing. the only problem is i wouldnt be able to afford insurance for it, its to damn expensive, and my dad doesnt like the idea at all.

-Honda Element-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Element
I like these because there big and boxy and i like that. They have tons of room so i can take all my band equipment to my bassist's house and im a big guy so i need some room. the thing is there r just a lil pricey.

-PT Cruiser-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pt_cruiser
Im not to crazy about these, my dad really likes them and thinks they would be a good car and he thinks he can get a good deal on one. But i have heard there really fun cars to drive, so theres a plus.

I was at guitar center for the past 4 hours. Fun stuff. I played that Dean resonator that I'm so fond of, through a NOS blues junior. Very nice. Played an AC30 as well as a Super Reverb, a Valveking, and a Blues Custom.

The Blues Custom is pure sex. Dark and warm, just like I like it. Played a Ibanez AF95 (which had a flamed walnut finish and gold hardware, more erection inspiring gear) through it, and did some slide work.

TeXaS_db

What do yall think is better Fender 65 Twin Reverb or a Vox AC30.
I want something really versatile and will give me alot of different sounds, but mainly like a dirty blues and harder rock sound. Something with really warm cleans and something that will give alot of crunch.
Im also looking at the Fender Hot Rod Deville 410 cause its a lil cheaper.

imgooley
06-08-2008, 09:12 PM
I'm not a big fan of the twin reverb, to be honest. I much rather prefer the Super Reverb or the Deluxe Reverb. Especially the Deluxe. 22 watts is a lot easier to overdrive than 85 watts. They also have very bright, cool cleans.

The Tweed amps are way warmer, fender wise.

The AC30 is a bit of a unique one. It manages to be bright while being dark and warm. It's my favorite amp. It has a top boost channel, good for leads, and the normal channel breaks up very nicely. 30 watts is more than enough for almost any situation. It's a 2x12, too.

Another cheaper option is what I'm planning on getting; The Epiphone Blues custom. It's switchable from 15 to 30 watts a/ab. Both channels sound very warm. The only thing about the cleans is that when in 30 watt mode, it does have that bright bite that Blackface/blackface reissues have. It's a bit darker than the tweed amps.

I say if you want a 4x10, get the Blues Deville instead of the Hot Rod. It's warmer, while still having the dynamics of the Fender cleans. The other difference between the 2 is the more drive channel on the HRD. I don't think it sounds that great. If you slapped a OD pedal in front of the Blues Deville, it would give you the nice crunch.

Have you played all of those?

TeXaS_db
06-08-2008, 09:28 PM
i played the HotRod Deville and really liked the drive and thought it had a pretty good blues tone. and i did play the Twin reverb and thought it was ok, it had a great clean sound but that was it.
and i played the AC30 and i really liked it, but it was a lil pricey.
I want to play a blues deville but i cant find one, and i have heard that they r only really for blues and i dont just want to play blues. but when i see one i'll play it and will see for myself.
i have really never looked into and of the Epiphone amps.
And is the AC15 just like the 30 but with a lower wattage.

and want r some good od pedals

Dimebag22
06-08-2008, 09:31 PM
Maxon OD 808 is awesome. or a Ibanez TS808 or 9.

I prefer the Maxon over the Ibanez though. I own both.

imgooley
06-08-2008, 09:38 PM
The Blues Deville can pull of Hard Rock, like Nugent or AC/DC or Led Zeppelin with an OD and/or a distortion in front of it. Your Big Muff can definitely push it there, and it sounds great through the Blues Deville.

The AC15 has a different voicing than the AC30. I haven't played extensively enough to really articulate it's sound, but it's different.

Another couple of options are The Peavey Classic 30/50 and the Delta Blues. The Delta Blues sounds very similar to the AC30. The Peavey Classic 30/50 sounds a little closer to a tweed fender, but not as warm.

I really suggest you give the Epi's a chance.

Also, the Crate Palomino series amps are very good as well.

Well, I kinda got forced outta my band today. The whole time they've been tellin me how much they liked my lead work. I miss two practices (we don't even have any gig work comin up) and they find someone else.

It's ok though, all they wanted to play was neil young and the doors. I like both artists but it get's kinda old doin the same crap all the time just because the vocalist wants to blow Neil Young. No big deal though, my heart is in the blues more than rock. It's just so hard to find people with similar interests.

Sucks man, form your own band now instead. You gotta keep the spark there and look for a band asap IMO otherwise it takes a lot longer to get going again.

Today I will hopefully write some lyrics for the song I've been working on and then probably record a quick version of it to get some feedback on it. Trying to finish some acoustic songs I have half-finished for my gig so I don't have to do all covers. It's in open Dm so it's quite depressing sounding TBH, trying to write some more uplifting lyrics for it to keep it kinda neutral.

I can't really figure out anything decent for slide in it yet but I like playing with just fretting stuff, it's a good drone chord to add some interesing melodies over and some unconventional structures. I'l try get a recording of it then, should be done today sometime.

I love the Dm tuning. Gives it a unique, dark voice. I wonder what it would sound like electric, and maybe with some harp.

The solo is awesome. "Let's go" :)

For some reason I'm thinking "I Put A Spell on You" as far as the aesthetics of the song. And I like the dog barking.

TheDev01dOne
06-10-2008, 06:40 AM
Lol the solo is a bit rough, will have to practice that ****, my fingers are just sore from playing it over and over again to write lyrics so I'll hopefully record a cleaner version another day after I've got it sounding a bit nicer.

I don't have a G harp to try but I think it would sound a bit cluttered, I really like it on acoustic, it's probably the best guitar part I've written in terms of being pretty simple, but not needing another lead guitar or anything to make it sound interesting, it just kinda floats on it's own groove.

Should be a bit entertaining on stage too, I bar the IV and V chords over the top of the neck so I can leave the high D string ringing open and play some twiddly bits on it with my spare fingers, audiences like that kinda thing.

imgooley

It's good man, can imagine it sounding epic through a cranked as tube amp. Is it on eletric or an acoustic, some bits sound really resonator-y and other bits sound electri-fried..

Good lyrics though, and nice slide licks. I might record something on slide later today if I still feel guitarry.

imgooley
06-10-2008, 06:55 AM
I played it on my Ibanez. It's mahogany with a birch top, and it's an archtop, so it has a really warm, dark tone, but it's small when compared to most semi-hollows, so it can get that nice bright, kinda twang but not real twangy sound that you hear, mixed with the warmth.

I can't wait till I get that Blues Custom. I played some slide through one on sunday. It was awesome.

If you have that much money to spend you can get a great guitar if you're willing to go used.

I always say it, but seriously look at Takamine EN series, especially the older ones (late 80s - mid 90s) .. They are amazing guitars for the money. I have the EN40c and it's a kickass guitar, mine is a 94 supposedly. My GFs dad has an EN20 from the 70s when they were first made and it's easily one of the nicest guitars I'e ever played.

They're MIJ and all solid woods, thin finish and light as hell so they just get better and better sounding the older they get. Mine pwns all the new Taylor, Martin, Alvarez etc guitars I played that were in my price range. So glad I found it when I did.

Just my opinion though so check them all out for yourself anyway. I just think used is a way better option. You get it cheaper, plus it's played in a bit so will sound better than a new one straight away.

Yeah, I was planning on selling some of my gear and a few of my low dollar guitars as well as my alvarez to get a good acoustic. Thanks for the info on the vintage guitars. It's just hard to find a decent used one around here, most stuff is brand new or if it's used, really beat up and low quality in the first place.

Look around on eBay or craigslist man, or try find a specialist acoustic shop somewhere near you, they're usually a fun day out.

That's one of my fav Hendrix songs. Hendrix is my main man, I could listen to him play for days.

It's a picture of him walking into a party with a cig hanging out of his mouth, it's awesome.

I'm gonna hold off the band thing for a while cos it's all stressing me out and just work on my solo stuff and see if I can maybe get some solo gigs around town. Yeah my girlfriend plays bass so I ony need a drummer but they're just so hard to find and it takes loads of effort to get the band tight and to know everything. If I can get out gigging solo I can make some money too and use it to get some stuff recorded properly and do some electrified stuff on there and just use the guys from the pub (who are amazing, especially the bass player) as session guys to fill out the band and try get some stuff happening.

For some reason I just really would love to have a proper, decent sounding CD of my own. I've been into music long enough I figure the only way to get out and make something of it is take the initiative yourself and see what you can get done. Nobody is going to magically discover me and give me gigs or a record deal or want to form a band with me if I don't have anything to show for myself and get my name out and known a bit.

Yeah that would be sweet. I now plenty of great musicians now but no recording or studio kind of people yet. I'm sure I could get hooked up pretty cheaply though if I ask around a bit. Coming to England and meeting all these people is the best thing ever, gonna try make the most of it before I have to leave.

Pretty much all of the regulars here are easily good enough to get out and start gigging and stuff at least, and should definitely be trying to do whatever you can.
Another thing is I've heard/seen a lot of independant music around here and loads of it isn't that great, the regulars here are far and away better than heaps of the bands and whatever that are out getting payed to play gigs and have CDs out and shiit. It's just the fact that they've put the work in to get themselves known a bit and get out playing and moving their music forward into the public as much as possible.

It's crazy to see a lot of crap bands getting 2 or 3 gigs every week and know that the average age of regulars here is about 15 and you're all way better than these people but just chilling at home chatting on UG and making the UG Blues album Lol

I dread what it's going to be like when our generation starts populating the music scene a bit more, gonna be damn hard to get noticed with so many talented guys around.

/motivational rant.

very motivational, indeed.

I'm kinda a bit weary of getting a main band together that isn't playing what I want to play, though. I want to play blues. B-L-U-S-E as Son House would say. If I can play some non-blues with some guys, that would be great, but I need the blues in my playing. Especially since I do most of my leads off of improvisation.

If I can play some non-blues with some guys, that would be great, but I need the blues in my playing. Especially since I do most of my leads off of improvisation.

When I was playing lead for that band, sometimes it was hard for me to get out of "blues mode" and into "rock mode". But, I was decent at both.

Same with me, but most rock songs are based off blues so it usually fits when I'm with my band, but when we play hard rock songs it's a little tough to get going. But once I get in that mode, I can shred it up fairly good.

The only time I can get out is when I am so pissed off, that blues don't work in calming me down immediately. And when I say pissed off, I mean punchin walls, breakin windows etc. type mad. That's when I need a good chug to calm me down. Then I always end up playing a really gainy blues solo.

Does anyone have any good practice licks I can use to increase my speed and accuracy?

I've done a lot of chromatic stuff but it doesn't seem to do much. I can play pretty quick, just looking for something to take it to a higher level.

Holland are looking like they're the team to beat. They play fantastic counter attacking football, and the play exactly like Marco van Basten did. There problem is that they've only played teams that are poor, because Italy and France just aren't good enough to progress. France have been awful. They're too dependent on Ribery playing the Zidane role, which he can't do, and on Henry, who is half the player he was at Arsenal. Italy lack a proper attacking midfielder and another striker to partner Luca Toni. When you play the Milan 3 in midfield, you need to have the attacking midfielder ahead of them to relay the ball to the striker, just like Kaka' does at Milan. But they don't have that, which is why Toni can't get the ball. Also, they need to revert to 442 from 451 because lone strikers doesn't work with Italy. So when Holland start to play the in-form teams, they might not have things as easy as they have done. Also, they don't have the best defense, and when they play teams like Spain who have great strikers, they could struggle. They're still my favourites to win though.

The teams that ive been impressed with are Croatia, Portugal and Spain. Croatia are playing very well, and they have great team spirit. Portugal look very good going forward, but they're weak at the back and at set pieces. If they play the likes of Holland, they'll lose heavily. Spain look very good, and im glad that they've switched to 442 because its gives the two strikers the ball much more. But Spain being Spain, they'll collapse under their expectations.

I still think that Germany could come good. They were lazy against Croatia, but when they start trying, i think that they'll make the final. They've got a strong defence, stronger midfield and good strikers. Their only weakness is Jens Lehman because he hasn't play at all this season, and he's always been a liability.

Here's what i think will happen

Quarter Finals

Portugal vs Germany
Croatia vs Czech Republic

Holland vs Sweden
Spain vs Italy

Semi Finals

Germany vs Czech Republic
Holland vs Spain

Final

Germany vs Holland

Winner

Holland

i grew up watching and playing american football. I started watching it around the same time when the Bills got to four straight superbowls and didn't win any, and i remember because Thurman Thomas was my favourite player. But ive always thought that its a cotton wool version of rugby. I bet that if you put NFL players into a rugby team, half of them couldn't cut it. I personally think that there is far too much money in American football, more so than football. Some players will have a few minutes on the pitch and take home a few hundred thousand dollars. You look at the top European rugby players, and you'll see that they'll end up playing every position on the pitch in one game, and play for 60 minutes. And they'll only take home a few thousand pounds a week

my dad is a big fan, so i know more about it than most british people.

Also, they is very little loyalty left in American sports. Here, most players will play for 2 or 3 teams in their career. Lots of players will stay at their hometown club for their whole careers. In America, players go to whoever slaps the biggest wad of cash on the table. The idiocy of the free agent markets at the end of every season sums up american sports for me. The players don't care about the fans, the management or their teammates, they just care about their paycheck.

Lets just take the example of the 2008 MLB free agents:

Aaron Rowand, Barry Bonds, Bartolo Colon, Tom Glavine, Alex Rodriguez, Andruw Jones, Mariano Rivera, Curt Schilling, Paul Lo Duca, Jorge Posada, Mike Lowell, and Torii Hunter

These are some of the best players in the game! One season you could have the worst team in the majors, and then in the next season, you could have the best. This is because the teams are franchises. They have no loyalty to the city, because if another council will offer more money, the team will pack up and move. And with America being so big, fans wouldn't know who to support.

I don't even want to think about marriage until im at least 28. But im still at uni and will be until im 23, and ive always wanted to have a good house and a good job before i get married. I also want to travel a lot, and learn Chinese properly.

I think that ive got the right girl, but things will start properly when we both finish studying, so i guess that we'll see. Fortunately, she's not the crazy, bitchy jealous type either! But im looking forward to graduating, because some of my friends from school have just started their proper jobs, and are lavishly spending their money. Im wanting to get a job in finance, particularly investments, as you can probably guess from my sig, and i want to make something of myself before i settle down.

Ive been seriously thinking of setting up a small financial planning business in my final year. It would be pretty simple. People give me their money and i invest it for them, and with the standard charges and commissions, it would be great. There's a small group of serious finance students, so i could get them to do it with me. For the past few days, ive been building a stock market database to find out which stock i will invest in, as ive given myself £500 to invest. I got the business idea from the Wall Street Journal magazine that ive got, and there's an article about young people who set up financial planning companies. They are unbelievably rich, and im unbelievably jealous.....

I can't speak to things across the pond, but here in America, financial planning and investment consultanting are great things to get into.

yeah its kind of the same here. People are becoming more aware of stocks, because of the credit crisis etc, but have no idea what to do with them. I already know that my girlfriend now is who I'm going to marry, technically we've been together about 4 years but only physically been together for 8 months. Even though I have every confidence in our relationship and really do want to marry her, going out to buy a ring, let alone proposing etc., is a massive daunting step that I' finding a bit difficult. But I think I'll know when the time is right, everything usually works itself out well for me.

We need to be engaged within about 1 year and plan to get married sometimes between Sept 09 and May 2010 so that she can come back to Australia with me without needing sponsorship from employment and crap. So it looks like a Summer wedding in Australia for us, which should make the travelling expenses for her family, if they want to come, more bearable since it'll be far better weather than England.

We've gotten really serious in here all of a sudden.

Wow, I didn't know you guys were an internet couple. That is actually kinda sweet, and awesome. She must be a great girl if you traveled 5000+ miles just to meet her. I commend you, my good sir.

That makes sense, It's a lot cheaper here than say in a good state like California and other states I haven't been to. Of course, I'm sure England's minimum wage is higher than the equivalent in Austrialia right?

Oh I don't doubt it, but your minimum wage is like $8 where ours is $5.85.
