Wow, i just got sigged:
Buying condoms is an awkward situation for me. Even if the girl at the counter is a fat chick, it still feels a bit weird. But im having sex, and she will be eating herself to sleep, so its all good!
Did you ever wish that your first sigging would be of a witty, intellectual phrase as well? Ah well, toilet humour was my back up!

^ that's cool, what did you do that made it so fun? :)
Stayed with this old age couple, must have been in their mid sixties, and were incredibly strange. And the French are a fairly...how shall I say... dirty nation. They are really unclean, and the lady would make us toast and stuff on top of the fridge, which was covered in dust and dirt, then covered it in butter which had gone of a weeks ago (it was literally mouldy). Then as soon as she turned around to get more gone off food out to make us eat, we put it in the bin and she was like: "You like some more? Is nice yes?" And we mumbled as if we had our mouths full "Non, merci." :haha
I ate nothing but KitKats for a weak. :haha And we went to Disney Land Paris, which was god awful but really fun. And the next day the people me and my friend stayed with took us out for the day, which was terrible. They took us to look at Reims Cathedral, which we had done 2 days before (with teachers) and understood because people spoke English. :p: Then they took us to their friends house, which was more of a mansion than a house. They had a huge barn yard, stables, 4 horses, 2 tractors, a theatre, 90 inch TV, HUGE HUGE HUGE "house", cellar which was converted into a Dining hall for the night, and like 4 kitchens with Chefs. That was the only night I ate anything other than Chocolate we brought with us. They had some play about Marie Antoinette on, in French and we couldn't understand a word of it. And we literally sat there not doing anything other than listening to music and talking for 7 hours, until 2 in the morning when we went back. :haha
Whilst we were waiting to get our food at the party, I was leaning on a wall, and it had some plastic kinda edging around the wall, almost like beams, and I was leaning on it, and it collapsed and most of it around the room fell off as well. :o That was embarrassing. Then I was leaning on another wall, and I was leaning on a light switch...Embarrassment commenced.
:haha Good times.

My starcaster is just like that. It's basically a low end reissue of a '72 strat, with a basswood body and ****ty pickups and bridge. I already put in a new bridge, so next is a pickup swap.

I'm not a big person for fashion, most of my clothes look really similar. In britain, the cool thing is to wear bright colour skinny jeans, cardigans and t-shirts. I wear normal shirts, with a t-shirt underneath and jeans with beat up vans, which I skate in, and are literally falling to pieces, with holes all in them. :p: I hate trends. But I'm growing out of all my current clothes, so I need new ones. :)

I find that Mingus is tied closer to blues than most. Also try some of the female singers like Billie Holiday.
I got into jazz the same way I got into blues, through hip hop.

hmm, we all have our windows I guess
I was led to the blues by Zeppelin, which I was led to from hard rock/metal (which I have grown to detest for the most part)
now I would say that the blues has led me to it

Yeah Hip Hop and R&B. When I was a kid, I would always listen to Motown stuff, Zapp and Roger, The Average White Band, Teddy Pendergrass. Then when I got into High School, I started listening to West Coast rap. I got a Warren G CD, and it had some nice bluesy beats, so I dug that. Then I got me some Tribe and that threw me into jazz. Mos Def got me into blues with The New Danger.
Don't get me wrong, I have always known Zeppelin, but only the songs that get played on the radio a bunch. My favorite Zeppelin song will always be When The Levee Breaks.

I don't know if there is a better word for this, but I've always enjoyed Hip-Hop that actually had a message you know?, and was said in a more intelligent way, that is why I can enjoy stuff like Mos Def and Tribe.

Im an Avs fan, so you can all kiss my British ass
No, not really, i used to support the Avs, but its almost impossible to follow (North) American sports on this side of the pond.
Anyway, i follow a real sport. There are no toothless Canadians or psycho Eastern Europeans, no heavy padding, no miniature goals, and no puck that is virtually impossible to see when you watch a game on TV. No, our sport consists of overpaid nancy-boys, blind ****ing arsehole referees, hooligans, and meat-and-potato pies. Yes my friends, im talking about football. Not the yank version where you have to wear tonnes of padding to stop players from getting a widdle widdle boo-boo, but British football!
I went to a game yesterday, and almost shat blood after the ****ing **** ref ruined the ****ing game, that lanky balding **** arsed **** for brains pig ****er.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH Nosworthy didn't touch him!!!! Sturridge fell over, and the ref was the only guy in the stadium who thought that it was a penalty. Then, to make it worse, he effectively gave them the second goal by running into Dean Whitehead, which allowed Elano to get the ball and pass it to Vassell to score.
Every Sunderland game that Mike Riley has reffed this season, he has given a penalty to the other team! He's a closet mag skunk.

in Osoyoos (a southern town) they get like 37 & 38 degree days in the summer, I couldn't live there man.
in my home town its usually more like 25 in the summer, sometimes it'll go up to 35 in a bad spell
and in the winter, its usually mild, -10, but some cold spells can be in the negative 40s

What do y'all say about this amp?
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Twin-Amp-100Watt-AllTube-Guitar-Amp?sku=480649
Tried it out at Long and McQuade and it sounded awesome. Might buy it with my work money from this summer :)

I've got a new recording in my profile, SPACEY JAM. Not really jazz or blues but my soloing is always rooted in the blues somewhat. Check it out, let me know what you think!

dimebag, I don't have any experience with that particular amp, but you can not go wrong with a fender twin reverb or fender 65 super reverb.
Personally I would go for a 65 super reverb, see if you can't find one and give it a try.

I'd rather have a Marshall Bluesbreaker, I think. But a Fender Twin Reverb would do nicely :haha.

I'd rather have a Superverb than a twin, mainly because 100 watts is too much.
Of course after I get an AC30.

^That's true, it would be pretty (pretty meaning incredibly) loud when it even starts to break up... That's why in real life I'd be happy with a Bluesbreaker, it's only 30 watts. 100 watts is the kinda wattage that makes you sick...

my ensemble performance was okay, but my friend who was going to play the chords to my solo piece was very ill and had to go to the doctor's so i had to teach my teacher what to do and how to play the chords for how long blabla within the two minutes between performances :(
nevertheless, i still played little wing badly :(

Maybe you didn't do as bad as you think. People (at least me) are always harder on themselves than they should be.
