Could someone give me some examples of bands that use E-flat tuning?
I know bands like iced earth and Guns n Roses do.

Alot of Hard Rock from the 80's does as far as I'm informed.

Oh yeah, E flat isn't called the "Hendrix Tuning" for nothing.

Green Day did for a while, at least on Dookie.
I believe Van Halen did at some point as well.

Quite a few metal bands actually, including Metallica for a while.
A lot of the 80's, including Van Halen in many instances.

It's actually very popular. I tried to convince my band to use it actually, but the other guitarist/vocalist in it is very proud of his ability to hit high notes, so it was a no-go.

Hendrix, Coheed and Cambria, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Various bands of various styles. I am not a big fan of it myself, but whatever.

This. Some is lower (Motley is in D standard) but a vast majority is 1/2 step down. And a lot of it was junk... Poison anyone?

Most grunge and 90s rock bands played in E flat, especially Alice in Chains and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Most Weezer songs are in E flat as well. Jimi Hendrix played in it a lot too.
