It is actually quite painful to read, mate. I'm sure this is no problem for you but what I'm writing is giving me and Kep a headache.

UG Black theme is terrible. Please ditch the crazy color Bitter|Symphony.

Blue looks good, no? Why not use that?

there's a shred forum for this type of stuff.

Rusty Cooley's 'Under the influence' or 'the duel'

Andy Timmon's 'Groov or die' (not really metal but then again, buckethead isn't exactly metal either.

maybe remake this thread in the shred forum. you'll get better responses.

Better?

I think this would be more in the context of rhythm rather than shred, if that makes sense. Like, I dunno, a tech death instrumental rather than Cacophony.

But he asked for something like Buckethead's 'Jordan'...

And, imo, a Tech Death instrumental would be terrible.

Inferi - The Warrior's Infinite Opus

They're like tech death, but waaaaay more melodic than say, Necrophagist. This instrumental is awesome. The riff at around 7:50 is the coolest goddamn thing I've ever heard.

Check out buckethead's "Monsters and Robots" for jordan-sounding stuff, and "the elephant man's alarm clock" for great riffing and shredding.

the obvious is the instrumental version of frantic disembowelment by cannibal corpse. type it into youtube and the studio video should be the first result.

What about an actual instrumental by them, rather than that over-referenced video?

Relentless Beating, off 'Vile', is pretty cool.
