i was messing around with chords and accidentally figured out start me up. i'm sure it wasn't perfect but it sounded good. the first time i actually made the effort to learn a stones song was when i tried to play and sing sympathy for the devil on my acoustic, but it was before i had the whole sing-and-play thing down.

You Can't Always Get What You Want. In the crazy tuning and all that, too. Lots of fun to play.
It was either Brown Sugar or Jumpin Jack Flash.

Most likely Satisfaction, I remember hearing it as a kid and adoring it.
I also dug the Rocks Off riff and learned it once I got into them completely.

Satisfaction, I had my guitar for a day and was trying to think of easy riffs and realized that satisfaction was 3 notes. Still haven't figured out the verse I just mess around.

mine was jumping jack flash it was fairly easy to play, except for the interlude, bridge part it was hard to get sounding similiar to the song I think you really needed two guitars for that part

Had to learn it or it would've sounded funny if the band played it without bass.

You could've made up a bassline.
I don't get how a band can cover a song when one of the members hates the song. In my band, everyone has to like it to cover it.
