The least popular instrument ever would be the accordion, but not for some rock musicians.

Even "All you need is love" by the Beatles has an accordion.

This thread is relevant to my interests. I'm Swiss! :)

Only song I can think of is "sweethearts together" by the Stones

Turisas have an accordion player as part of their line up, but they had to get a new one- their old one disappeared in the middle of a tour.

Dylan's last record has accordion in ever song. Gogol Bordello has an accordion player but they're not classic rock.

The Decemberists would probably be classified as "chamber pop" instead of "rock", but they have a few different instruments in some of their songs. I'm pretty sure there's an accordion in The Mariner's Revenge Song.

Another band which is considered Baroque-pop, called The Divine Comedy, uses an accordion in many songs.

And also...Barenaked Ladies.
