my dog has a benign tumor on its toe and i wanted to see if someone had a estimate if they've had to get this done before, aparrently it just happens to older dogs. i doesn't have to be exact but i'd like to know what price range its in because if we don't have the money for it, the dog will have to be put down because the tumor could cause her pain if it goes unremoved.

don't recomend to ask the vet, i just wanted to see how much it'd cost

if it helps to know the breed, shes a beagle-german shepard mix
i'm not trolling, i'm just worried about my dog

I just asked my girlfriend (she's a vet) and she says anywhere from 300 to 500, depending on how sickly the dog acts in the aftercare

Hope that helps =D

You say "Don't recommend a vet" but simply by phoning the vet you can get sane advice about the amputation?

I was going make a horrible joke about doing it yourself, but it made me sad to think about doing something like that to a dog so I couldn't press "post"

Well, I am neither a vet nor do I know one, but here's wishing your dog a speedy recovery all the same.

Um...why don't you jut call the vet and ask how much?? You'll definitely get a better answer from them.

i would just have it put down, because it will be cheaper and less emotionally painful in the long run.

Asking a vet would likely get you a price.
