I've always thought this song was supposed to be a punk tune but they were asked to take out the guitar part because it's too abrasive. It could happen, I remember hearing about when the "punky chips ahoy" cookie commercial was being cast, some punk singer (Mike Ness maybe?) got rejected because his voice was too punk.

its a deceptively brilliant commercial, a memory device says you need to say someones name three times in a conversation the first time you meet the person and you will be able to remember their name for a much longer time. By making you say freetriplescore.com three times even though it isnt really a tounge twister you remember the name a whole lot easier.
