Collaborative Medley Song - Game [GP5]
View Full Version : Collaborative Medley Song - Game [GP5]
This has been done plenty of times before, most of you probably know the drill: You make a tiny tune in GP5/GP4, then somebody else builds on it, and on it goes! :)
Let me just put up some rules so that we can keep this structured:
- You can build a maximum of 8 bars per "turn".
- You can build at whichever end of the song you want.
- You can add instruments to already existing parts. You can not however, change existing bars. Atleast consult the creator of those bits before doing so ;)
- Feel free to use pace changes, pan changes, and the like.
- You can start building from any submission, meaning you can choose to build from the first edit, or the fourth edit.
- Add a GP4 conversion so that more people can join the fun
So, do somebody else want to start or should I take the liberty? :]

No problem. We'll just leave a GP4 conversion alongside it.

We should post first to tell people we're making something and then make something, so we don't start overtaking each other?

Actually, that's why I added the "edit whichever mach you like" option. That way we could have a tree of ideas to choose from, rather than just one straight line.

here we go. Ahh this attachment thing takes ages. Should be fine now though. I left guitar out of the last bit- if anyone wants to have a go at doing it theirselves go for it!

Oh yeah? Well I revived her.

I took the liberty of filling in a guitar.
I don't know if it worked for you, but I feel fairly content with the result

Here's my contribution. I kind of ran out of time, so I never quite achieve the effect I wanted with the guitar playing the octaves, so if anyone wants to mess with that track you're welcome to.
I also took the liberty of labeling the tunings of all the guitars so it's easier to keep track of what's doing what.

Bahaha, awesome. Although how anyone's going to recover from those last two bars will be interesting to see.

Added a cool intro before THE intro that blends nice, and at the end, added a drum fill and buildup. Drop A, give 'er a go.
BTW, next person... if you don't do drop A, good luck to you
Read the vocals at the buildup for some lulz.

I lol'd.
So WyvernOmega's build was too difficult for me to connect with. I buildt from uptheirons' bit instead.
I also added the last bar for...well, I don't know why so feel free to overwrite it.
