Has anyone made a thread for Bad Religion? I searched, and I couldn't find any.

I used to like em. I don't really anymore, but they were one of my favorite LA hardcore bands when I listened to that stuff. I liked that they weren't afraid to be catchy and poppy (even though that was occasionally a terrible thing.)

I don't really like them. They have a few pretty good songs on their first album I guess.

I hate their slow stuff... some of their more hardcore stuff is OK, but nothing I'd want to listen to a whole lot...

Because I was listening over MP3 player a lot the last time I listened to some of their albums recently, from time to time itīs good stuff (as Rancid or Pennywise), itīs not my every day bread though

How Could Hell Be Any Worse? is one of my favorite albums. I agree that they've gotten a little worse as time went on, but I think they're still a good band.

Every time I hear one of their songs I think "Hey! This is pretty good. I should listen to them more." But I never do.

Bad Religion are alright. I think How Could Hell Be Any Worse? is great, but it all goes downhill from there, at least from what I've heard.

The newest album isnīt that great, but itīs no straight line down, since The Empire Strikes first is one oftheir better ones I think

greatest band ever. and its good that they are one of the only early 80's punk bands that haven't died out or just gotten ****ty

I could never get into them because of Greg Graffin's voice. It just doesn't have enough energy to it I guess. There are a few of their songs that I really like though

I don't see the logic behind this. I'd be disgusted if they had 15 albums of the same stuff. They're all like 50 years old.

Bad Religion is pretty generic punk rock, but I'll admit I think No Control and Suffer are really catchy.

I really like whatever that album is called with social suicide and los langeles is burning, and sinister rouge and let them eat war, but can't get into any of their other stuff.

I don't see how that makes them worse, just your taste I suppose.

I've loved all there albums and the vast majority of there songs, I don't think theres one particular song that I actually hate, and there newer stuff though more poppy is still very good. Graffins vocals in the newer stuff are more melodic. Not that theres anything wrong with the early stuff either.

Yeah, from his point of view of course, thats what I meant by that, though it probably wasn't clear.

I love 'em. Seen them once in London (poor show but Brett was there) and twice in Dublin where they were magic both times. When they come back here I'll be first with a ticket.
Not keen on the experiment they did with proggy stuff but I prefer the newer releases to the very old ones. Maybe that's something to do with Brett not normally playing or Brooks on drums, I don't know. They are just old guys (nearly my age) who enjoy what they do and it shows.
