Okay.. so i've left the metal band (GASP!) and i've actually started a pop/rock band with my metal buddies..

And here goes the first song i've ever wrote for this kind of music and it only really took my like 10 minutes to write it.. The solo to this song, i've actually recorded and it's on my profile you should too check that out!!!

That sounds beautiful. I don't see why you muted the solo. It was perfect! I wanna hear this live :D

If you have time, Id love some feedback on my popcore song!

Well, except for the impossible Piano chords (you have to remember this isn't Guitar), I haven't seen any problems. Really nice light song, just perfect for when you're tired and don't want to concentrate hard on any music. The Solo was nice, probably needs a personal touch to be better, and was a little short, but fine. Outro was pretty nice.

would also appreciate if you checked the recording I have on my page.

It's the solo to this song, thanks! It's a really rough sample and it was my first take, I was improvising except for the ending I had that tabbed out already.

I really like your little pieces! (sounds wrong)

haha but yeah you should really consider lengthening them up! They have serious potential.

Wow.. this is some great piece of work!
Very melodic. I like the way you made this song able to calm somebody down.
I also like the solo very much :-)

I love your song a lot, man!
The melody is just so calm and nice, makes me wanna fall asleep :)
I would finish the solo by adding some bends and maybe a semi harmonic as the last note.
Loved the outro, doesn't get any better than that!
Really, great work man, I loved it.
Please C4C my thrash song if you could

this is nice sounding and everything is executed well, like the bass and drums. how they come in is great and makes for a really emotional sounding song. but the only problem is this has been done so many times before. you obviously know how to construct a nice song, all you have to work on is being more original.

this chord prog has been used thousands of times. this is a good song for u to get ur emotions out, but it wont become huge due it not being too original.

and the solo from what i was heard was good, i unmuted it.

good job overall tho it was really well put together.

crit mine if u want, its in my sig

This is great stuff! I love it!

It sounds a bit like a power ballad. I really enjoyed it, and it's just the GP5. It gets especially cool when the distortion comes in. Also, the "incomplete" solo was freaking cool. You shouldn't have muted it. Was it by chance based off Skid Row's "I Remember You" solo?

Anyway,

Congratulations! 10/10.

that outro is EPIC!
Really liked the rythm guitar, maybe try some substitutions.
There are some stops that are A5 B5 that I simple can't imagine them not being there, but they are too long!

In summary:
Fix tha A5 B5 stop
Finish the solo
Insert lyrics about skateboarding (JK), no no, insert freebird style lyrics

and...

see ya in MTV

EDIT: and as everyone says, it does calm down people, it's like a freaky ''musictherapy'' thing. I was on a bad mood and now im relaxed.
