I've listened to it, and it's definitely not bad, I'm just not the biggest fan of this style.

I liked Worthless a lot more than the other stuff they've put out, though.

Sellouts... :p:

But seriously, it's pretty cool that they're all into hardcore. I still refuse to listen to them, but they're really close with the Mis Sigs dudes too cuz some of them live in Milwaukee. Andrew even plays drums in Burning Empires, an MS side project hardcore band.

blake1221
11-16-2011, 09:03 PM
Yeah, their drummer actually murders it. They all kind of got their starts in hardcore and then realized that writing "Sugar, We're Going Down" would make them famous.

Which I can't really blame them for.

MustangMan311
11-17-2011, 12:39 AM
Fall Out Boy is awesome. They were all in hardcore/metalcore bands before FOB including Arma Angelus, Racetraitor, etc. Andy toured on drums with Earth Crisis last year, and he's currently in a band called Enabler with ex-members of Trap Them, Harlots, Misery Signals, etc. They're putting out a full length next year.

Fun fact: Thriller, the "heaviest" song on Infinity on High is a song retort about Set Your Goals from their song, Mutiny.

FOB is awesome. Anyone who says that they sold out is silly, because all they did was go from writing easy to listen Pop punk, to writing easy to listen pop rock. Like Saves the Day. Stop making stupid opinions on the band because Dance Dance and This Ain't A Scene were always on the radio.

But yeah, Take This To Your Grave is one of the best pop punk albums ever.

All Time Low's stuff was really good until the album that has Weightless on it. Where Fall Out Boy transitioned to well written song writer's pop, ATL transitioned to terrible brainless pop.

And their singer has a combover now.

Could never fully get into MCS. I feel like they have a cool thing going on, but they just come up short often. Not my style. The dozen or so songs by them I like, I reeeaaaallly love, like Everything Is Alright, The Future Freaks Me Out, Time Turned Fragile, Don't Call This a Comeback, etc. Justin Pierre is a pretty sweet vocalist/guitarist though.
