What do you guys think is the best chicago blues guitar, the ES-335, the Les Paul, the Les Paul Goldtop, the Fender Stratocaster, the Fender Telecaster, the Fender Jazzmaster, or Other..

The best for Chi-Blues are Kays, Harmonys and Teiscos.

That's the sound all of 'em Gibson and Fender players are aiming for by hot rodding amps, pulling tubes, chaining tap dancing overdrive and distortion pedals, rewinding pickups, and poking speakers with a pencil.

If there were a "best" guitar, then everyone would use the "best" guitar. That would suck.

Well the Goldtop is pretty much perfect for Chicago Blues.

Single Coils on steroids...

Teisco, Kay, Harmony, Epiphone. Not fender or gibson.

Fenders and Gibsons can be just fine, just depends what sound you want...
