Does anyone know where I can get a printout of a string height/action gauge? I'm also looking for a printable string spacing gauge. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the gauges are just pieces of metal that are a certain thickness. A piece of paper won't do what a feeler gauge does. The measurements have to be exact to the 64th of an inch or at least the 32nd of an inch. It would be impossible to eye that accurately.

I have always used a 6" "scale" or ruler for "quick & dirty" string height measurements. THere are several good ways to use indicators & gauge blocks, but these are kind of labor-intensive.

Stewart-Macdonnell (stewmac.com) has all sorts of gizmos for it (follow link: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Nuts,_saddles/Special_tools_for:_Nuts_and_saddles/Neck_Relief_Gauge_and_Nut_Slotting_Gauge_Set.html )

For the string sapacing try this: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Nuts,_saddles.html
