woow very heavy and epic sounding, great job man.
10-28-2009, 06:57 PM
Heavy, liked the start.
But the end seemed a bit messy tho, maybe it's just the midi. I should check it out when recorded with real effects and guitars, maybe then it will sound awesome instead.

THIS SHIT IS ORGASMIC.
I want your babies. Your satanic, twisted, progressive babies.
This is very epic. I wish it would build up into a 20 minute epic. I wanted it to keep going. The blast beats were magical. Excellent touch. Timpanis in the beginning I loved. This whole thing was a pleasant surprise.
I'm srs, this is amazing.
I feel dirty asking you, but check mine out? It's a whole lot longer than this. lol.

this is great orchestration! i love it...
epicness starts at 25 :D awsome chord progression...
but why should it end like that...extend it more...
can you take look at mine? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1217896

Holy ****ing shit. That was awesome. Nothing bad to say about this. Purely epic.
10-30-2009, 05:53 PM
just pure ****ing awesome...
seriously, the only thing I can say about this is that it needs more, a whole lot ****ing more :haha
But is this a song on itself, or is it more of a prelude for an epic song that follows?
because if it would be a song on itself, I think it needs more put into it, think like solo's and interludes and calm parts and heavier parts etc etc..
but if it is a prelude, then the following song must be freaking epic ;)
The only other thing I can say is that the end needs more lower notes, like lower strings, powerchords on distorted guitar on the lower strings, bass or something like that, at least that's what I think, but it sounds great either way...
anyways, care to take a look at a little piece of mine, it's not long only 2 minutes or something, and I don't require a long crit, just some feedback whether you liked it :)

Brutal man. Keep up the good work.
maybe make it a bit longer. Add a bridge in there. A guitar solo would sound cool.

This has epic written all over it. Pure pump up music. You did a real good job on it and the thumping rhythm of the strings, chorus, and brass really give it that dramatic feeling. My only complaint is that it is too short. Now if this is an intro or prelude, like said above, it would be perfect. But as a song itself, it needs to develop more. You got the introduction down tight, now go somewhere with it!
