Thoughts?
I think their guitar tones are MUCH improved over previous albums. The Splawn Nitro gets a great sound on this album. At times it can be formulaic, but that's not always a bad thing. The choruses are often a little overly simplistic, but that's okay too. I was a bit bummed that there was all this great harmonized guitar work and very few solos.
Howard Jones' voice is really beginning to shine, especially on his melodic parts. I still dont understand his need to scream most of the verses when he has such an awesome voice, but i suppose that's a metalcore thing.
