Although they are metalcore, they do have a lot more hardcore influence than most of the bands in this forum.

And I personally would have killed to see them with BMTH. When I first got into TGI I looked on their profile and they still had the tour dates up in a blog, which didn't realize were the year prior. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed, especially since it was in this really small venue (could fit maybe 250 max).

The Ghost Inside, making me walk like a retard with headphones in via breakdown since 09. The only better breakdown they've ever written was the outro to Faith Or Forgiveness, imo.

I'm loving the shit out of the intro to Chrono and that melody at 0:46. Too good!

And I'm seeing them tomorrow with Deez Nuts, who I'm not fussed about seeing, so I might have to go hunt down TGI and tell them they're awesome while DN are on :p:

Just back from seeing them, they blew Deez Nuts out of the water and were absolutely insane (as predicted). I think it's obvious you're doing it right when you get persistant encore calls and you're a support act...
Pricks didn't play Chrono though, but the first song off their new album sounds heavy as shit.

Yeah I was stoked they played The Brave, but I really wish they'd played Chrono haha. Oh well, next time they're in Scotland hopefully they'll be headlining and they can do a longer set. I was very impressed that the Aberdeen crowd were so into them, it was pretty full for them and they had loads of mic grabs and a pretty big pit. Good stuff.

If you accidentally type mediafire after their name on google and just so happen to accidentally check the first link that pops up, you may just unknowingly stumble upon a 36.56mb compressed file of it free for download. No idea where they played in Sydney, but the Riverstage is huge. Mustve been around 6000-7000 people. Anyone who went there can back me up on the size. Was massive

Well actually listen to a song by them then. The only reason Deez Nuts is the first band is because they're on tour together. If you really want new metalcore band suggestions:

Volumes

They're one of those bands that have 2 seperate styles...they'll have songs that are just breakdowns and stock metalcore riffs, then songs that are all melodic and catchy. Overlooked falls under the former, which I am not as keen on. Still a good song though.

MustangMan311

They're a mediocre metalcore with good breakdowns and boring song structures that appeal to kids looking to be into the whole hardcore "brotherhood" thing without actually listening to bands that hardcore kids listening to, that's all.

zezimathehero

^This, basically. They try to embrace the whole hardcore culture, but they still do essentially nothing but two-step riffs, open-note chug breakdowns, and sometimes they do those with melodic parts overtop. Its metalcore.
