Hey guys, my band is going to be working with an indie record label to start our own division label for punk and ska bands.
More specifically, the genres will encompass Punk, Ska, Reggae, Hardcore, Oi, and Street Punk.
We're going to need a name, so i'm reaching out for ideas.
Got anything?

Just name it after a song or something, but not anything too obvious. Or, there's always Up Teh Punx records.

**** the Police Records? Just kidding. I would say something like Anarchy records, but I'm sure that's already been thought of. Just make sure when you sign Hardcore bands, they're actually hardcore punk, not chugga-chugga-screeee-core bands.

i'm likin' that idea, but because of the couple genres that are included that don't fit that ideology, it would be strange, haha.

exactly. i'm thinking hardcore as more along the lines of gallows and have heart.

The Art of Whore. Hmm. Not really a label name.

...though it has given me an idea.

Whorecords. 'cause it looks like "Who Records", but it could be "Whore Cords". Like vocal cords for whores.

...meh >_>

EDIT: Whore's censored? Blah.

It should probably have the word "drunk" somewhere in the label name.

For street cred purposes.
