Hello. Am i the only one having an attraction to Nazi-punk?

I mean.. i don't like ordinary punk, because it's just not my thing. Abit too teenagery for my taste.

However, Nazi-Punk seems alot more "real" to me, in the sense that it is actually not teenage brats whining about the government, but real adults, finding a way to express a message that had a worldwide ban, with a passion, and the message is not even as mindless as people would like to think.

Anyway, anyone else has this attraction?

Just for clearence sake so i won't get attacked too much verbally

I am not a Nazi by any means (Though i got many friends who are)

Have you thought about driving at 70MPH, then opening your passenger car door, then kicking them out of it?

I doubt it has much attraction for anyone purely because it has the word Nazi in it.

Ever since i saw paul merton in europe meeting the neo-nazi brigade, or anti-neo-nazi brigage, and them shouting "Apple Juice!!" (in German) at the Neo-Nazi building across the street, i find it hard to take Nazi's seriously. Not that i did in the first place.

real adults, finding a way to express a message that had a worldwide ban, with a passion, and the message is not even as mindless as people would like to think.

What, you mean like people in their 30s and 40s expressing views that are anti-capitalist and anti-christian (views which are not exactly under a worldwide band, but which are considered negative to large parts of Western society)? Because alot of punk bands have that going.

It's true that a lot of pop-punk is teenagers (or adults who act like teenagers) whining angstily, but plenty of punk is based around real adults trying to express a message which is not acceptable to mainstream society.

That said, what you like is what you like. I think it's wierd that you make friends with Nazis, but who am I to judge? My point is that if you think all punk is juvenile complaining (except nazi punk) you're doing it wrong.

I'm not really seeing how Nazi Punk is any more "adult" than your typical hardcore punk band. Hardcore bands whined about government and society and Nazi Punk bands whined about minorities with regards to society (at their most eloquent.) It's all whining. Kind of like how people whine about religion, and incessantly plaster their UG profiles with anti-Christian stuff to seem edgy and daring.

A-for-effort, though.

Nazi's are followers of the national socialistic political view. They consider democracy as a weak system to run a country, they believe people are to be labeled and judged on the colour of their skin and the race they are considered part of. They have a romantic view of inhibatans of a certain country, using terms like pure blooded etc. I dont know if you are really frinds with these kind of people, but come on man wtf? Are you even serious? A real adult message? This is an extremely dangerous and short minded view of the world, its a message of hate, and it was born in the frustration of the german people after world war 1.

From your name and sig. I can see you must be pretty frustrated by things in this world and your life, and you will get over that I hope. But come on think for a second, this is not the smartest thing to be thinking about. Nazi Punk has a very specific dangerous political message, and I dont see why you should listen to it, or like it except for the fact you think your gonna be part of some national socialistic revolution or something.

Then again, do what you like, but just remember to keep thinking straight. Maybe its time for you to man up and stop being so frustrated, and dont hang around nazis anymore.

If you think punk is just a bunch of teenagers whining about the government, you know absolutely nothing about punk.

If you think nazi punk music is even remotely listenable, you know nothing about music.

If you can stand to have "many" nazi friends, and listen to bands spewing hate, you're a piece of sh*t and we're glad you don't like punk music.

and what about people like me, who were friends with people who later turned into nazis? they are not violent and they don't try to force their views on me or anyone else, + they are pretty careful not to offend people in public. (not saying all nazis are like that...i've met a hell of a lot who always talk about violence and 'brotherhood.')

and david benyamin: perhaps he is like me and just ignores the message. i'm a monarchist and democrat, but i still listen to left wing bands as well. + if you have any nationalist friends you can't avoid listening to the music, as they tend to be obsessed with it.

all in all though, i have never heard a nazi band that i would rather listen to over the sex pistols, slits, buzzcocks, dead boys, gbh, etc...they are often good, but they usually lack the originality and quality riffs that the more 'traditional' punk bands had.

I don't see how you can have any respect for your "friends" after they turn into nazis... If they're careful not to offend, great... they're still scum bags with a distorted world view.

I tend to only be friends with people I respect on some level, and I can't respect a nazi.

Oh yeah sure man. Killin' Jews and gays and gypsies n shit just because of their heritage isn't mindless at all. Up da Nazi message!

Personally I wouldnt accept any friends of mine to turn to so called nazis. Its a not a like its a decision where people should be respected for, its a decision made out of frustration, and you would be beter of helping them with their problems and reminding them nazi views dont get you anywhere.

You have a point tho, you could listen to music beyond the message. I got the same thing back in the day with soad en ratm which had an obvious political view and I didnt agree, still I listened to them. But like you said yourself I dont believe any nazi punk band would be worth listining to beyond the lyrics, there are enough other bands out there.

When we look at the TS he seems to be pointing out at the message of Nazi Punk, reffering to the lyrics. Its in the same line as black metal, a type of music where people turn to because its a cult, the "rest" of the world doesnt understand it, its like choosing to be not understand to be "outcast". Its the same thing here. Nazi's are the misunderstanded and now they suddenly have an adult message, we were wrong all along, thats what he seems to be saying. And thats why I ask you, to think for a second about what your saying.

QFT

I don't know what these angsty little teenagers here are saying. All this punk rock they ever talk about... it's just got no soul. All I ever hear is "I hate the government" this and "anarchay" that. I want some real music by people with real problems. Like the Jew problem. That's a real problem. I'm sick of hearing about the problems with government and society. That shit's perfect. Stop complaining, you faggots. What I really want to hear about is our... well our problem with the government, but in a less teenagery fashion and with more jew-killing and faggot-hating. Now that shit's real.

wow, what a thread......I have a so call friend who listened to a lot of nazi punk while laughing and drinking beer.
Nazi punk is extremely funny, in a shocking way. Their musical abilities are as their lyrics extremely awful, not to mention the topics their lyrics are about.

I really love to listen to Pflandser who turn the nazi songs of Landser into songs about gardening.

You know what nazis do today?

I'd listen to a nazi song if it was good, unfortunately nazis are very rarely good at doing music.

They focus on the message too much rather than the music, and they are validated by their fans who only like them because of the politics and "scene" around them. Got to say that unfortunately similar things happen in the extremest of extreme left wing punk. Alot of shit bands are kept afloat because of the scene. Luckily there's alot more left wing punk bands about so more chance for there to be good ones.

I don't condone fascism (or leftism) in any way although I have sympathy because i am sore as hell at the avaricious f*cking kikes on wall street who decide to F*CKING RUIN MY LIFE - LITERALLY RUIN IT just because they think that they don't have enough money already.

C*nts.

They may as well just kill me and murder me, because it's no different and theyd be doing me a favour by putting me out of my GOD DAMN MISERY.

eVIdently the holocaust didnt teach these people anything.

Sorry if anyone finds this offensive, I don't really mean it deep down, or have any control what i am doing right now (I am now [b]definitely[b] mentally ill, for real). I just needed to vent and to scapegoat others to lighten my own burden of personal demons. Which is what most bad stuff is i guess

An on topic, i would take bad religion a lot more seriously if they werent so needlessly anti-religion. Religion isn't a cause for evil, it's a shield of justice for it to cower behind.

What's with all these threads popping up lately?

There's an anti-nazi/anti-white power thread in the hardcore forum that started a few days ago and the bad brains thread is (as it inevitably would have) turned into a debate on homophobia.

I thought racism was cured because Obama was president.

So Nazi punk is cool because it goes against a worldwide ban? That seems like the equivalent of 4chan users looking for child porn because of the stigma attached to it.

You can call the message of other punk music shallow in its political content but it's a damn marathon more meaningful then using fascism, anti-Semitism and homophobia to cause controversy as a cry for attention.

There's not even a world wide ban on Nazism. What kind of bullshit has TS been eating? I don't know about where you guys are from, but there are no laws forbidding Nazism in the United States. You'll go to prison for child porn, but people will just think you're a fucking idiot if you're a Nazi.

They shouldn't be driving day or night
They can't think left, they can only think right
The sun reflects off their bald head
Like Ian Stuart they're going to wind up dead
Nazis... shouldn't drive (their cars)

They should've paid attention in driver's ed
Instead of hating foreigners, queers and reds
Keep your eyes on the highway you loser thug
Now you're squished on the highway like a bug

Ian, Ian, King of the Pit, no friend to you or me
Aaaaaaaaaaah! Watch out for that tree!

RAC and related BS has absolutely nothing to do with punk, in my opinion, and it's my opinion that counts here I guess.
