I've been listening to some of Jello's spoken word albums when a friend of mine turned me on to his new band, jello biafra and the guantanamo school of medicine. i got the album and i really liked the sound. a song that stood out for me was I Won't Give Up, the last track. heres a performance of it with jello and all his jiggly jello goodness.

Song wasn't that noteworthy from the crappy live recording, but I just have to say.... Jello looks disgusting. Like a sad, washed up old punk rocker

It's not bad - I wish he had moved on from the Bush bashing.

so back......they are good, not anywhere close to Fresh Fruit or Plastic Surgery Disaster, but I think also not worse than Bedtime for Democracy, though differently :p:

Some songs deffinitely have a Ratos de Porao........When Jerry Brown becomes governeur again Jello will maybe produce a new Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, so vot for him :)

Saw them live a couple of months back. They were pretty good, but gotta admit that I kinda agree with Rizzo that Jello looked a bit washed up.

He dived on my head too the bastard

Yeah, Jello should probably keep his shirt on nowadays.

He can still wail pretty well, but I'll stick to my plastic surgery disasters for now

When you're 50 years you should be as fully clothed as possible. There's an old man in my neighborhood who gets his mail wearing a bathrobe that's probably a small when he needs an extra large. I'm always afraid I'm gunna see old man junk.

This "band" played around here very recently. All the p0nx kids went. I went to a small acoustic show instead. I regret nothing.

That's not necessarily true. I mean, some people still look pretty good at 50 and beyond. Jello Biafra just isn't one of those people.

This album is awesome one of my top albums from last year. My favorites are The Terror of Tinytown, Electronic Plantation, and New Feudalism. To me it sounds more like Frankenchrist. Its funny that someone mentioned Jerry Brown because Ive read an interview recently where Jello said his views about Brown have changed.

Everybody should keep his or her shirt on. Even Iggy Pop.

i play my bass with my shirt off and im a brown man with tons of fur
i also happen to play a bass with epic pink strings so if jello likes to take his shirt off its ok by me.
and yeah, i def think this album is worth checking out. i agree, it does remind me of frankenchrist

You used to do it a lot. I think it was cause at one point we had similar avatars, and our usernames both start with R.

I think I'm the only bassist ever that keeps his shirt on.

^no.
When I played in a Big Band bass, I always had on all necessary clothes, as does our bassplayers today.

I'm hopeing that comes with the exception of Iggy Pop, I think if he ever play fully clothed the world may end
