Music Finding Website

I remember a long time ago, my guitar teacher told me about a site where you type in a band or artist and some sort of web cluster pops up with tons of similar bands. Does anyone know what that site is called? I need to find some new music to listen to. :(

I know what you're talking about, but I can't remember the name of the web thing. But it was based off of Last.FM anyways, it was just a different way of displaying the same information.

yeah, it's definitely not pandora or last.fm. I remember that the more you "zoom out", the artists that are listed sound even less similar than the artist you initially searched for. The setup was quite elaborate.
