The title says it all. I need songs, where Northern Ireland or the IRA or the local conflict or whatever like that is mentioned.
From my mind there come directly:
"There´s a bomb going off in Belfast" - Human Error (Subhumans)
"Then it´s off to Northern Ireland..." - From the cradle to the grave (Subhumans)
"We want more Brighton 84" - I hate Tories (Contempt)

So throw some songs at me (If you say "Yes Sir I will" then please quote exactly)

This thread is as pointless as all the others here lately, so just answer that!

^that´s right.......they just don´t say that directly very often (excluding Alternative Ulster), you have to know they´re from there........but you´re right

^the last stanza maybe, but the rest seems to be singable by any person from any country with an army/military draft.

Agreed. I don't understand why people consider TFOA as an offensive rebel song. its a song about struggle during the famine. I suppose it could be classed as song about the Irish 'struggle', but i think too many people have a negative attitude to the song and associate with the Wars that followed the period it was written about.

'suspect device' - Stiff little fingers..good song
Try and stay away from dropkick murphys, thier good but its just irish punk music, not really much to do with northern irish conflict...

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Flogging Molly, they practically have entire albums based on that.
Drunken Lullabies and What's Left Of The Flag are the best IMO.
