I damn near sleep with my Strat. Hell, she's prettier than a lot of people are.

Those aren't so much types as they are brands.

I usually play Japanese Fenders, though.

Kay, Silvertone, Harmony, Airline... basically any cheap guitars that were sold in 50's and 60's department stores.

strat...or basically anything with a fender style bridge

it's what I learned guitar on and just can't get used to tune-o-matics or guitars with a carved top

I like the weight of my fender. Gibsons are just....meh. My mexi strat is better quality then a LP studio. IMO that is.

*edit* I just got an LP Studio, they feel equal in quality, but I still think the fender has better weight to it.

Love the Gibson...Hummingbird is a beautiful guitar too...pretty much anything by Epiphone I like.
That an Yamaha. May not be known for exceptional guitars but they make a damn good acoustic.

I quite like Indie guitars. My next guitar will definitely be an Indie Rickenbacker copy.

I definitely prefer the feel of Gibson guitars (Les Paul) to Fender (Strats/Teles).
