Well, I started this little "metalcore" thing the other day and kind of hit the wall. Anyways, I wanted to hear what you tihnk and if you have any input or suggestions I'd like to also hear that. As expected... C4C

What you've got sounds good (though it seems to be one big solo so far!), i'm liking it. What I imagined coming next when you stopped was a big half time riff though. If you listen to The Devil Wears Prada, you should know the kind of massive breakdowns i'm talking about...

What sort of singer, if any, do you have? If you look at the way he normally sings over your songs you might see a pattern - try and incorporate the kind of riffs you find into this song, giving him parts to sing over. Not carbon copies, but you get the idea - loosely based on x riff or y riff.

Stick at it though, and most importantly don't force it! It'll come with time - and if you're stuck play it out with your band members, see what they think and work on it as a group, if you do that sort of thing.

I hope to hear the finished article! If you want to listen to some of my work go here (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1310096), although it's not really metalcore... It's got some double bass in though! : D

This is currently just stuff that comes out from me jamming ouit on the guitar. I'm not very into deathcore and much less The Devil Wears Prada. But thanks for the input. I try to avoid massive breakdowns as a whole, but sometimes they just fit.

Reminds me vaguely of some ABR I like it!

-Intro- seems kinda forced but thats just me

- Bars 6-13 are nicea and kinda have jazzy tune, it fits well.

- Solo is fantastic, usually i dont like tremelo picking in solos but it fits very well in 27-29. and the rythm behind adds a nice touch too.

33 through the end are also very well done... for some reason i love the rythm behind and the harmony adds a nice touch

overall 7.5/10 because its unfinished but could be a pretty awsome song.

Awesome melodic work, very catchy :).

Extremely effective for such an overdone genre, much better then my attempts at originality. 9/10 easily.
