I know this is probably the most impossible question to answer since there are so many, but if you had to choose one classic song, what would be your all time favorite?

mine would probably be Roll with the Changes by REO Speedwagon. but ive just started listening to classic rock so im sure i will find many many more

Achilles Last Stand-Zeppelin,
Sultans of Swing-Dire Straits,
Have a Cigar-Pink Floyd, OR

Like a Rolling Stone, by Bob Dylan is probably my favorite song of all time. The crack of that snare drum sets off a rock song of unprecedented greatness.

So hard to choose... There's to many fantastic songs

But...

Stairway to Heaven and Achilles Last Stand- Led Zeppelin
Let it Be- The Beatles
Uhhh... Does Alive by Pearl Jam count as Classic Rock? Or is it to late.

different answer to every other time i get asked but whatever,

Dazed and Confused
Little Wing
Bring it on Home
Something by the Beatles but I can't choose what
My Generation
Satisfaction

it annoys me that they're all obvious, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Beatles, Stones, Hendrix.
Don't get annoyed at that mate, it obviously says something about the band and your taste in music. It's also obvious that you like British rock, **** yeah! except Hendrix of course, still undeniably one of the greats. Not to mention his connection with the Brits. It was an American British band as with The Police My personal opinion is the Brits are the greatest at making music.
Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Who, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Dire Straits, ELO, Queen, The Rolling Stones, T-Rex and dozens more.

I would probably say GNR's Mr. Brownstone or Black Sabbath's Iron Man.
