Matt can ban me if this is off-topic, but Facebook just told me that our very own Michael Connolly is engaged to his girlfriend, Jen Oaks.

Matt can ban me if this is off-topic Ban you for a legitimate reason? No way! :haha: Off-topic or not, this thread is deserved and will remain open.

He hasn't been online in a week and a half, so hopefully he'll get to see this. If not, I'll bring it up next time I talk to him.

I've never met Mike in person thanks to a location difference of about 600 miles or so, but every time I've talked to him, whether it be here, the hub, AIM, or facebook, he's always seemed like a level-headed, down to earth guy with an obvious passion for music. It's always a pleasure talking to him, and I wish him and his fiancée the best of luck in the future.
