I wrote this ages ago and loved it, but as hard as i tried (and oh god did i try!) i could never think if where to go next with it!
If you've got any ideas id love some help
but if not, please enjoy what could have been a great song :P

writing as i listen.
good synth intro, i like how you didnt make it the lead melody and let the guitar take that part.
drums were right on spot(i say this alot in my critique's because its a really important part)
you should REALLY work on making this into a full song.

Haha thanks man i know its been over a year since i wrote this!
the drums are generally fairly decent as i am a drummer myself as well as a guitarist!
Thanks for the crit man, i liked "shadows of the mind" on your profile! it would be great to see some full tabs from you

thanks, but "SotM" was more of a test on a few things.
uploading to UG,modes, and the movable chord i used.
I'm more of an improv man , i just can't play then sit down and write it xD

6-7-1-2 progression afterward? (those would be chord root tones)
actually i don't know if that's proper notation at all so the basic progression in tab would be, on the fifth string: ---3--5--7--9--
keeping the same rhythm that you have. then afterward i'd put some sort of key change into a heavier section. that's what came to my mind.
pretty cool beginning, anyhow!
