Hmm, I started writing this one quite a while ago... Like all of my songs, my work habits on it were inconsistent, intermittent... Still turned out pretty decent, I think.
The obvious influences would be Yasunori Mitsuda, Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo... Other than that, there's nothing too noticeable - Just slight tinges of whatever I've been listening to in the past half-year :p:

I really enjoyed it for the most part, although I'm not sure why you have "unplayable bars" in there...I guess most video game music is synthesized anyways. The only thing I DIDN'T like was the woodblock, but that's just cause the sound of it annoys me. Personal preference. The best part IMO was the flute melody at bar 27...It reminds me of the music from the Pokemon games for some reason.
It would help me more to know what sort of game this was written for though.

Impressive piece. I agree with Ginsu about the flute melody. Definitely the best part, and it's got well used chromaticism, which is always great.
