Every time I try to listen to Bright Eyes I end up scrolling through the songs and settling on At the Bottom of Everything, at which point I listen to the intro and like 10 seconds of the song, then get bored and listen to something else.

A lot of them are, but listen to I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. The songs are a lot happier, even if they're written about really sad topics like death, like At The Bottom of Everything, which is possibly my favorite song from him.
