so im just getting a band together and we've decided that we'll start off doing covers and stuff, and if it works then progress to our own songs, the problem is: we dont know what songs to play. we've decided that we'll do classic rock of somesort (zeppelin, beatles, stones maybe some hendrix, who knows) basically old good stuff. but we cant really come to any consesus on which songs exactly to play. so i ask your opinions, on say maybe 5 songs of this era/genre that would be good for school festivals and such. :D thank you all that help out

Voodoo Child - Jimi Hendrix (this would be awesome 'n will get you the fun fan following)
What Mama Said - Jennifer Batten, Jeff Beck - the 1999 version from the Jeff Beck concert is really awesome
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin - to get the mood going
Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
& maybe a take on the Godfather theme like Slash did

Anything off of Aerosmith's Rocks or Toys In The Attic, Zeppelin - Rock n Roll, Hendrix - Purple Haze, and since you're playing schools, Van Halen - Hot For Teacher
