I've been a dedicated rocker since I started listening to music and never really went into any other genres than old school rock/ metal stuff, but lately I've started to find a few really interesting songs that I like but because I don't have much of a grounding in lot's of other styles I'm struggling to find things that I like within that sort of genre.

I love that song, but I followed it back to it's original artist and while the original version is cool I don't like the rest of the songs they have, but I like this song so much I figure there must be more things like this that I haven't considered.
Any advice for a starting point?
