We've been asked to put together a music piece which involves the school's choir. We need a couple of ideas. We've already got the ideas of
Somebody to Love - Queen
You Can't Always Get What You Want - Rolling Stones

Only problem is, there's a lot of differing music tastes in our group. I have the reputation for 'liking old music' (i disagree-good music is good music, regardless of when it's made) so i dont know how much people will go for the stones. I suppose it was on Glee which could get a few people on board...

But anyway, any more ideas would be great :)

You could try "Bohemian Rhapsody" if you wanna go full out... not really done with a choir ... but neither was "somebody to love" (they just overdubed it like crazy to sound like one).. I havn't met a person who dislikes Queen though... and if they claim to dislike Queen they are clearly lying and know nothing about music...
Theres that Killers song "All These Things That I've Done"... its got a choir in that mid section...

Theres some songs you could have arranged for choirs like the Beatles "hey jude" Or "Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, The End" or like said earlier Kansas' "Carry On Wayward Son" or Argent/Kiss' "God Gave Rock & Roll To You II"

Let It Be could sound really cool if you have someone to play keyboards.

I second Another Brick in the Wall.

It's well known, and a bunch of schoolchildren in a choir? Perfect.
