"note" meaning a note on any instrument including voice, and the quotes referring to something like a bend or tremolo, not actually a single note, but.. you get the point

Yeah, every single vibration from any object that produces a frequency, sound, or tone can be placed on a musical scale somehow. Every noise you hear can fall somewhere onto a scale, and that makes it a note.
