Been a while since I've been on here. 58 hour work weeks don't allow for much.

Anyways, this is a finished song for a new band I'm a part of It's techy metalcore with 3 guitars, basically. This is intended to probably be the final song on the EP we're currently recording.

Thanks for any feedback and will C4C when I find time.

I like your bass. It's not as boring as metalcore bass usually is.

It was like ABR meets BTBAM and it was pretty good.
I hated the drums though, they really detracted from the piece in my opinion.

Yeahhh, drums will be redone by our drummer, haha. I'm awful at writing them still.

Loved the use of major 9ths in your bassline.
Bar 54 was kinda wrong sounding. The breakdown was a littlle dissonant unless thats what you were goin for. And verse 2, I wish I could write leads like that.

Cool outro. TUBULAR BELLS! I love those things.
And also thank you for showing me that metalcore has hope.

I agree with the ABR/BTBAM thing, very reminiscent of both bands. The rhythm of the piece is really nice though, has some nice start/stop aspects, and it keeps a really good flow. I really enjoy the melodic parts of it! The outro was really cool too! The waves sound REALLY good in guitar pro, and I was very shocked by it xD Great work on the whole thing!

Very awesome BBW(YEEEEAH!)

my only crit would be that the outro sounds better without the clean lead over it.

other than that i enjoyed this piece.

I enjoyed this thing quite, quite a lot. Generic as it is, I'm a huge metalcore fan and man, you've got something here. Loved the leads, the scales, the riffs. Bass was pretty interesting, too. Pretty, pretty cool outro. Those tubular bells gave it this epic ending feeling and then you make the gunshot track sound like ACTUAL thunder. I loved that stuff.

Got nothing else to say than congratulations, I'd buy that EP undoubtedly.

I really like your song dude. The melodies are really cool. I love the way you did your breakdowns, not just a generic one note riff. I'd just say you have too many choruses ahahah

This is one of the best Metalcore pieces I've heard. Like point, this is the only piece I've heard that has distinctly stuck out in a positive way. :haha:

BreakDown A was probably the most interesting Non-Djent break down I've heard. Besides that, really cool piece overall, final chorus was great, along with all the other great parts that would take more time than I have at the moment to break apart. :haha:

I lol'ed at the programmed Tide sounds. :haha:

But yeah, really cool piece, alot of BTBAM comes out in it.

Did you just call this piece generic, or are you saying that metalcore as a whole is? I'm not a Metalcore specialist, but this is by far one of the better pieces outside of BTBAM that I've heard.

This isn't a real crit because I'm not gonna say much, but I just wanted to let you know that the breakdowns and the final chorus/outro in this song are awesome.
